aye, you get a good fish supper from the chip chik.
I made a fish pie for todays dinner with cauliflower and broccoli cheese bake with baby totties, obviously I scooped away the broccoli cos I'm a man, but overall it was a little bleh !.

I've just made a vat of my patented bolognese sauce which should give us six or seven dinners.

But Mrs C is about to make her amazing Tandoori chicken which we'll have with the remains of last night's baked vegetables.

I've just had a hazy IPA and am sipping my first vino of the evening.

Tempted to get totally rat-arsed and let work know in the morning I'm suffering from "flu like symptoms".

Does that mean you sell your sauce?

Love bolognese, one of my favourite dishes.

Sell my sauce? Are you asking whether I'm a giggolo?

My bolognese is a thing of beauty and quite unlike traditional bolognese.

    Ingredients

    Carrots (diced)
    Red capsicum (sliced)
    Zucchini (diced)
    Mushrooms (sliced)
    Onion (diced)
    Garlic crushed
    500 grams best mince
    2 bottles Arrabiata sauce
    2 cans crushed tomatoes
    1 sachet tomato paste
    Various herbs and chilli

    Method

    Brown the mince then remove
Throw carrots, capsicum and onion into frypan - sizzle till soft - add zucchini, then mushroom
When all vegies soft, throw in mince, garlic and stir until evenly distributed
Add Arrabiata sauce, crushed tomatoes and paste
    Add herbs and chilli

    Stir until perfect

Serve with penne (my favourite) - should make 12 - 14 portions.

    Enjoy

Mrs C makes an amazing pea and ham soup with lots of chilli.

We're having that with some lovely crusty toast and I've just opened a crisp savvy after a lovely IPA.

    I'd ask youse over but...

Wife’s gone off for a few nights and left me to it. Just hit Lidl’s for £20 of the most unhealthy * I could get my hands on. Worrying about the blood pressure will start again Monday :50:
