    Starting BJJ next month, anyone else train or trained in the past?

    MNBJJ or Griphouse if in glasgow are your best bet.done a bit in the past my knees are humped now

    I used to compete before a bad football injury and then lockdown. Might get back into it soon. Great sport.

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Grappling/submissions/chokes etc.

    @Gioventu i did it for a few months a few years back. Between that and watching endless hours of fight tape I actually got pretty decent at it (for a beginner). I never moved on to actually getting stripes on my belt or anything like that.

    No stripes for me either yet, hoping to start going twice a week which should help with the experience. Fancy getting into a striking sport as well, there’s a Muay Thai gym near me so might give that a go later in the year.

    Trained for a couple of years (once a week) but never competed, mainly to build up fitness. It’s a great workout.
