Very relieved to hear that he is awake and his condition has stabilized. Massive relief, most especially for his family in particular.

Genuinely couldn’t believe I witnessed that! I feared the worst. Saw the medics doin compressions and I didn’t think he’d make it. Especially when I saw his wife at the sidelines. I thought she was being summoned to say her goodbyes. Heartbreaking.

Just heard they will resume the game tonight at 830!!

maybe the players want to go ahead if He is stable....?!?

BBC saying they have requested to resume.

I hope to * they've consulted the players before making that decision, cause that seems incredible

 

Game resuming tonight is a mental idea. Truly insane. I mean, the players have just been under so much stress that their own hearts are at risk.

 

* me game getting restarted. Obviously the players are the ones who should decide that so don't think there can be any blame aimed at anyone, just shocked at that.

 

I thought it would go ahead. No tonight though..

Too much at stake with it being the Euro's and now he's in a stable condition..

You'd fancy Denmark to really rally round and give a big push after what's happened. Think they'll deffo win now..

Hope Denmark get the win. Going to be an emotional night for them.

 

The guy has a serious 4 or 5 hours here....With a jolt to the heart like this it takes time,tests etc.....To ask to play the game is strange,unless he told them themselves to play it for him,but the players wont be in the right mind.

head tonight. Didn’t think the Danish players would be in right frame of mind to play. Fair play to them.

Hopefully makes a speedy recovery and go back to playing the sport sooner rather than later.

 

Whatever your thoughts about the game going ahead, it surely can only mean good news for Eriksen.

Personally I would have liked it postponed but hopefully they have consulted the players on both sides.

I know I shouldn't be surprised where football governing bodies are concerned, but that is * nonsensical making them finish the game tonight. Even if the players wanted to continue Uefa should have taken the decision out of their hands and given them time to process what happened.
