Ronaldo has been atrocious in this first half against Israel..

No for the first time I've thought he's looked terrible of late..

Can't help feeling like they'd have a better chance of the Euro's if he was more of a bit part player..

    Edit : then scores :giggle1:

They've got option's that would see them more fluent though I think now..

The Ronaldo of the last say 5 seasons or so has been utter pish to watch in general. His entire game was manufactured to be all about stats.

The Ronaldo of the tail end of his United career/start of Madrid career was a magician and absolutely brilliant to watch because he had all the flicks and tricks in his locker as well as the class assists and goals.

It’s one of the main reasons I see the Messi comparison as laughable, Messi is posting the same level of goals whilst still being the greatest player in the game to watch.

Aye there was a period in time when he was at Madrid where I could atleast see people's arguments for why he was the best.

He’s been like that for Juve mate.

Obviously still one of the best ever but it’s frightening how much his allround game has declined. Think he knew only chance he had to keep up in the Messi debate was ‘numbers’ so is just going all out for goals while doing * all else.

15/2 with Paddy Power, Mancini will have them well drilled, but can't see them winning..

No one of the favourites but I think they've got a decent squad this year. A lot of quality and a bit more pace than usual with Chiesa on the wing and Spinnazola at left back. Verratti in midfield, Immobile and Belotti up top..

They could be a dark horse to go far..

Should be a good game tonight , both teams in good form. Turkety actually scoring a decent amount of goals lately including a 4 - 2 win over the Dutch. Yilmaz scoring a few, maybe not tonight but could do well in the other games.
Can't see past Italy though, still hard to score against.. got Immobile and Insigne in my dream team.

Just been reading the Czechs have been twisting to uefa about playing at Hampden and traing in Edinburg with the covid rules?, wanting venues switched. .. Hope we smash them.

Uefa must surely tell them to * off.

If they are doing it correctly, then they are in their own sporting bubble malark and it shouldn't matter the covid levels/rules for Joe public.

Spain and Moreno for me, not overly confident. Betting with my heart rather than my head.

Equally when I bet a fiver on Scotland to win the whole thing ha.

Tonight's bet is a small/easy own Italy and immobile any time. Small returns, looking to roll it on to s game tomorrow for another small return but build on it throughout the tournament...hopefully.
