So one game defines his entire career?

 

If this goes the way most of us think hopefully the anger will be directed at the clowns who appointed him and not at somebody who has quite rightly took the chance to manage at what will be his biggest club .
After a season in which we were an embarrassment on and off the park and which a fairly high profile manager was needed more than ever given the state of us on the pitch this is the best they can come up with ?
Desmond and the board are a busted flush , its sickening to think of how far they could actually set the club back .
Everyone will hopefully get behind the new manager but will hopefully not forget whos actually to blame here !!

We all have doubts, I think more than likely it will be a disaster but I'm not going lose my reason over a result in the Japanese cup.. I will now judge him on his transfers, team selection, tactics and results at Celtic

I will do the same, I haven't written him off or said he's certain to fail but I get why fans are going through his results pre-celtic with a fine tooth comb. We knew * all of him until two weeks ago and any football game he presides over until he's in Glasgow is relevant to us, that was my original point. Mocking fans for showing an interest in his teams performance is bizarre for me.

 

This joke will set us back years.
Last year was a blip when in comparison to recent success. If we brought in a Howe or equivalent and won the title straight back, it would have deflated the huns big time.
But now, we'll be years behind where we should be.

Was it a full strength team? Do they give a * about the Emperors Cup...? Sounds important mind ha

 

I am not a fan of this Ange coming in, that's if he is and it is made official. His success will depend on him getting the right backroom staff in, his own backroom staff. I think people who are judging him on this so called shock cup defeat are being a bit premature. Yes I know his coaching has all been in J League and A League , it does raise a few eyebrows and it does concern me tha this is our Pedro moment. But if he is the named manager then we have to accept it and pray to * he comes good. But its stupid to judge on one game, a cup game at that. We have had plenty of our own shock defeats and there are plenty every season from Leagues around the footballing world. Remember our away defeat to Red Imps, a certain managers first competitive game ? We all know how that season went, imagine if he was judged on that one game ???

 

Mate we have had 174 pages of this exact same point over and over and over..

Sean was pulling your * about your spelling I literally have no idea about the cup, or the lineup, or anything as I have no clue about Japanese football. All I know is in cup football a team 3 divisions below knocking you out is a very bad result, regardless of the circumstances.

I’m clearly at it there but you seriously can’t believe we didn’t lose a game of football to them because we beat the the next game.

 

Regardless of the decision that has brought him to us, Angela is the new manager and I will back him to the hilt. I hope he is a rip roaring success and if he is I will doff my cap to the board for appointing him.

I said the same about Ronny Deila too. I thought it was a bold move but also a big risk. This is in the same category for me.

How was this manager plucked out of obscurity? There are 100's of coaches out there available and we bring in this unknown. Next season is NOT a season for experiments.
