With the way things have gone so far my expectations are we will dither about getting players in, leading to us dropping out of European qualifiers at the first hurdle. A poor start to the season, out the league cup early, with possibly a bit of a revival for the second half of the season but too little too late.

If we ever bother to get a manager, coaches, a DoF and some players my expectations may change, but that's where they are based on the current situation.

I expect us to challenge for the title and at least a cup.

In reality we will probably finish second again and win * all.

If that happens it will be a * shambles.

    Much is true.

I really want this to be good. Bit the amount of * about and absolute disregard of fans.
Probably since october last year I've felt nothing but absolutely heartbroken and raging about how the board * up so much.
I just dont have faith in what's going on right now

    Only time will tell.

    * the * huns.

Take the huns, shine it up real nice

    Turn them sideways

And stick them straight up your candy *.

I’m getting * sick of this constant oh woe is Celtic and how those orange * are going to dominate.

We are Celtic. * those orange *.

Huns should have been dead and buried but the boards incompetence has thrown them a life line which they’ve grabbed with both hands.

This season should have been all about righting our wrongs but the board are doing their best to ruin our chances of that.

You can still detest the Huns while admitting we have some catching up to do to challenge them next season.

Was an incredible miss for me at the time and for Brendan Rodgers. Ben Davies this January is another we could have.

    I genuinely fear this.

There is a feeling among most of us that things were so bad last season, that the only way is up.

But I'm not entirely convinced the only way is up, we could just as easily have another disaster.

Look at our squad at the minute. We're losing Edouard and Ajer. We'll lose Christie too. Moi is going back to Southampton as are all the other loanees.

Realistically what are we left with?

McGregor, Julien and Forrest. Those are the only players capable of playing to a high level in a successful team.

The remainder are no better than average SPL dross.

That's how dreadful our squad is. There is so little distinguishing us from teams like Hibs and Aberdeen etc.

Will Agnes be able to fill the positions we need with the sufficient quality?

    I doubt it.

I can see a number of Pedro Caxhina type signings that just won't fit.

We could end up just struggling to stay in 2nd.

Must admit I knew hee haw about him at the time. Could have been a Broony, could have been a Kevin Thomson.

Ben Davies I still don’t know who that is.

I thought most felt it was a massive blunder not signing him mate. I couldn’t believe we didn’t to be honest. It just looked clear as day he was someone who could take over from Brown.

I honestly don’t remember too many posters raging at the time. Not saying there wasn’t but it’s not memorable.

There wasn't. Most were slating Hibs for the asking price and hammering his ability.
Very easy for me to say now, perhaps I might have posted at the time, but I wanted him and thought we * up.

    As for expectations, * knows.
I honestly have no idea what to expect. Deep down I'm not particularly positive.
The only thing I'm honestly looking forward to is a trip over and getting back in to watch a game.

**edit - it's not even deep down actually. I'm not very positive at all.

My expectation is that we as a minimum challenge for the title and if we lose, it's at least really close.

Alongside this I want to see us playing entertaining football and that it is clear what the plan is, with the right building blocks in place for long term success.

I can accept losing the title next season if it benefits us for the next 5/10/x amount of years. We have a proper structure and setup and modern football department that has a plan in place for when a manager eventually moves on.

But from season 2 I expect us to be challenging for everything.

I can’t accept us losing the league next season. It is the minimum requirement for the new manager.

The huns are no world beaters and our league is * *. We should win the league. Simple as that.

I think you're underestimating how big a job this is. Any manager would struggle to win the league next season, and I really do mean any. We have to sign a full squad, get them used to a new setup and style, give them time to gel and settle and do that in a fairly short period of time.

Rangers however have a fully settled squad, who have just went the unbeaten in the league. As much as I've watched them and thought they don't look anything special, to go am unbeaten league campaign is an extremely difficult task.

I think it is obvious and expected they will be favourites. But for me, I can accept not winning the league because I believe it will takes us until January to get fully settled and upto speed with everything. Only as long as we challenge for the title (we may still win the title) and it's clear that something exciting is happening and we can clearly say we are building for the future and going to dominate again.

IMO if we got Eddy Howe I’d expect us to win the league and get to champions league group stages but i’m not confident the same can be done under Ange in his first season. It’s not fair having different expectations for two different managers though

I expect us to finish 2nd, fail to make the CL and possibly even Europa League. No idea about domestic cups.
