Would take the league and a good run in EL next year, let St Johnstone do another cup double.

Anything over and above the League would be a bonus tbh.

    Zero expectations.

Once again the board have failed to forward plan and take action swiftly. We will feel the pain of this throughout the season.

We are left in a dire position with no manager and a massive squad rebuild on our hands. The new manager won’t have anywhere near enough time to build a squad, implement his style and make us competitive.

Heading into the summer, I really thought that the board would have had all of their ducks in a row after last season. By now I would have expected us to have a top manager in place and a few signings in the door.

It would be amazing if we had signings in the door considering the transfer window isn’t open yet.

Can see us doing a Pedro type season getting beat off Peppercorn or whatever they were called, no Europe (or is it impossible.not to go into that National thing).

Get beat about 5 0 off those hun * in first game and * be sacked around Dec/Jan when we're 3rd.

Will defo be worse than last year.

I expect us to challenge for all for 3 trophies and win at least one. We should also qualify for the Europa league.
If St Johnstone can win 2 cups, no reason we shouldn't be able to.

You can sign players prior to a transfer window, you just can't register them to play for you. Sadly our club isn't proactive and never gets things done early.

The two domestic cups and EL qualification would be abject failure.

    * that. League title is the minimum requirement.

    Not good players.

I’m not saying we will sign good players but I’m not going to hold this particular thing against the club... yet.

You definitely can with good players if you push the boat out. We could have easily wrapped up somebody like John McGinn a couple weeks before the season ended for example.

Can you think of another right off the bat? Let’s be honest as well, there was a few dissenting voices but the overriding feeling was it wasn’t a big miss.

    Hindsight is wonderful.

Neither Mowbray nor Barnes were being written off before they came in.

Barnes was getting time due to King Kenny, as for Mowbray I don’t remember any moaning before he got the job.

Deals can be done. Official registration delayed until the window opens.

Plenty of free agents that we should have been looking at or players entering the final 12 months of their contract.

Season after season we are too slow to act. No doubt the Huns will have their business done early again and give themselves a decent chance of qualifying.
