Great achievement. Have to say, their performances the last couple of months have been phenomenal. They looked ropey for a while beforehand, but the likes of Filbey, Hayes, Warrington etc have been immense.

Looking forward to this team next season more than the men's team.

The biggest thing they need to do is get away from K Park. The pitch is an abomination.

Congratulations to the womens team. Gave Glasgow a real run for the money with the title and in the end securing second and champions league football is a very solid first season for the team since turning professional.

I'm going to be honest I've ignored women's football (except the national team) until now, and I'm so glad I watched this season. The squad has some good young talent and I just see us being better next season. They started a bit meh but they started to gel and since February they have been awesome.
I think people thought the huns would win as they attempted to buy the league by stripping Glasgow City of their best players, especially after they tanked Glasgow 5 nil but from game 8 onwards they have been pretty *.

Well done ladies. You played football with a smile on your faces and I loved the way you celebrated each and every goal you scored. You showed your love for the club and it was obvious that you all played for each other which, I might add, is a helluva lot more that can be said for the men's "team"

Keeva Keenan's departure confirmed, was one of our best players the last couple of seasons but then seemed to drop out of things a bit after we came back from the lockdown despite being one of those that signed a professional deal, wonder if she maybe has already agreed a deal with another team in a bigger league.

Levante finished 3rd in the league, only 4 points behind Real Madrid.

Guessing they’ll be a pretty good side.

The Celtic Women’s team will play their first ever European tie against Spanish side, Levante, following today’s UEFA Champions League draw.

Fran Alonso’s side qualified for the tournament after finishing second in the league last season, and the Hoops are looking forward to kicking off their European adventure next month.

The format of the competition sees four teams drawn in each group, which will be played as two semi-finals – the other two teams in Celtic’s group are FC Minsk of Belarus and Rosenborg of Norway – and the winners of both semi-finals will meet in a final match to determine who progresses to the next stage. The two losing semi-finalists will play a third-place play-off game.

The semi-finals are scheduled for August 18, with the final and third-place matches taking place three days later. The location of the matches has still to be decided, but all the group games will be hosted by one of the four teams in the group.

Levante finished third in the Spanish league last season behind Real Madrid in second place and champions, Barcelona, who also won last season’s Champions League.
