    Beautiful pictures Sioux:50:, that sounds like a right good day out with your Dad:50: , what breed of Duck is that?, i love the pic of the Moorhens in among the beer bottles :56:, that ruin looks like a nice place to spend a while exploring, did it get hit during the Clydebank blitz.?

    I simply cannot wait until Thursday for I am visiting the North Wales uplands with a very good mate for the first time since Jan 2020!!!
    The delay being pretty obvious. Hen Harrier,Merlin,Hobby,Honey Buzzard,Osprey,Goshawk,Redstart,Spotted Flycatcher,Whinchat,Cuckoo,Garden Warbler,Stoat,Red Squirrel,Common Lizard,Adder,,various Dragonflies and Butterflies being the Targets. And they say do not aim high nowadays!!:56:

    Absolutely STUNNING pics Susan. Sounds like you and your father had a great time.
    Speaking of Ardmore Point Susan, we've had many great times at Ardmore Point. It's a great place for Slavonian Grebes, unfortunetly I've never seen one, but it's always fun trying to see one. It's also great for Linnets. On one occasion, we were there, didn't see much, and the next day, we read there was a SPOONBILL there. A fukin' Spoonbill. And yes, we were angry.

    Thanks Johnie not sure what type of duck's they are some kind of eider duck maybe, it was a lovely day out and it could very well have been during the blitz but I'm not sure :)

    Someone else mentioned rannoch moor to me so I looked it up and it looks like a stunning place next time dad and I get the chance for a day out that's where I'd like to go :)
