With someone like Ange, I doubt Celtic will give him anything but the absolute bottom dwelling minimum.

The clubs never stated theh would, merely throwaway comment to "modernise club" could mean anything.

Much like the Howe deal, they was happy to allow leaked info, journalism and fan frenzy to gather for this idea, knowing it would drive season ticket sales withouth them ever needing to clarify anything.

News now is that the Howe deal was knowingly dead before they announced renewals, they done that specifically to allow the fans own frenzy to be the selling point.

Once they had 30k confirmed, they then told us the Howe deal was dead.
Odd that we would ever come out with that sort of statement, never have we done that before.

The dof and full restructure is merely the same thing.
Lasting hope is Ange and a full restructure will come in place, but they've now no reason to follow through on that.

Numbers are seemingly well in to the 40k renewed (thanks in part to happy clappers and the auto renewal scheme), the board have been effectively given license that no manager is still good enough for us.

The restructuring to a modern footballing operation won't happen.

Rodgers had a squad - albeit underperforming - to work with.

We have 1 full back. 3 inadequate GKs. If Ajer goes as expected then our only fit CB is Welsh. If Eddie goes as expected our strikers are Griffiths, Bayo and Ajeti.

The rebuild is absolutely huge and we're giving it to a guy with no knowledge of Scottish or European football.

Wouldnt give a * if barry ferguson or iain durrant was our assistant as long as he gets us playing better , defending as a team , and winning games!
