I think it'll be fine with UEFA if Muscat got the go ahead (he had to start his pro after the decision) with only 5 year experience as a manager and 2 as an assistant in Australia. Ange had that much experience 20+ years ago.

 

When he managed Brisbane, he brought in Thomas Broich and Bersat Berisha. I had no idea who they were but they came from the Bundesliga and were a huge step up in the team. He flew over to Germany himself to scout and convince them. He convinced them both to make a massive step down in terms of wages and quality of competition.
