Knew he was going to leave and will be missed.
A good bit to learn defensively but he is a good player and showed real baws and heart while here.

    Good luck to him

    Lifting me Ajer etc etc

Just read his interview there, can’t fault anything he said. Hope he gets a good move and the rest of his career is successful.

Ajer will be missed, however any player who wants to leave or indicates they are thinking about it should be told to go. We have a huge rebuild ahead and need a settled squad. We don't need players who are half hearted about playing for the Club and stealing a wage. And that goes for any coaching and backroom staff. Just get them to * !!!

True, but ‘not smart’ is just about the perfect way to sum up Arsenal’s entire approach to the game for the last decade.

I would rather have 11 guys from Scotland playing giving 100% than all these * walloper's that believe there own hype.

Don't get me wrong he's got ability but he's not found it too easy in Scotland he's been far from brilliant just best of a * bunch.

The Norwegian coach saying he's like a senior playing junior football in Scotland. What a load of * he's not been anywhere near as dominant as that suggests.

It's actually insulting. Get him to * with anybody else that doesn't want to be here.

Good luck playing an all Scottish team ! It's great if you don't want to win anything !
Ajer tried hard the whole time he was at Celtic but Football is not an individual game, it's a team game & one CB cannot carry a team.
He deserves respect for his time at the club.

I have always liked him but he's nowhere near the level he thinks he is! He makes mistakes quite a lot and is no good in the air.

His effort levels are great which is a big plus for him but some of the garbage about him strolling the league is ott.

He's not going to walk into a big European team until he improves his all round game.

I was just meaning that so many people can only dream of playing for Celtic and now it's like the whole team want away. It's shocking how many players downed tools last season Ajer wasn't one but still think he has much to improve on.

Harry Maquire and David Luiz make loads of mistakes and have played for 3 of the biggest teams in England. Think Ajer will do really well down there.

You mean like Christie & McGregor who were both been nowhere near the level of Ajer last season. If all our players had the same level of commitment as Ajer did last season, we would have been a million miles better than we were.

Centre Back is probably the toughest position to play in todays game & when a mistake is made it usually ends up as a chance on goal. Midfielders & forwards are not held accountable in the same way as defenders.
I'm still not sure that Ajer is a CB & think he would excel as holding mid-fielder but in my opinion CB is the toughest position on the pitch

I think working with a porper defensive coach would make a huge difference for him and his development, as would playing against better players week in week out, so I can see why he wants to move. I also think he'll do well down in the EPL, if that's where he goes. The standard down there, while markedly better than here, is definitely not as good as they hype it up to be. I mean, if Shane Duffy can make it there how hard can it be?

I think Ajers got huge potential but if he's playing against a team that has a decent winger that can whip accurate crosses in and a striker that is an aerial threat he would be exposed.

As an out and out CB I prefer Welsh.

Ajer has great attributes but some real weaknesses too, not aggressive enough, weak in the air. Absolutely no complaints about commitment but I sort of see him as a better Bitton. A utility player who is decent in different positions but won't make that final step up longer term.

He's definitely a defensive midfielder as some have mentioned though I'm unsure if he's a particularly good one, our most overrated player due to the fact the rest have been so below par, Kemar Roofe got the better of him in an aerial duel, need I say more.

Good luck to him and I am sure with the correct coaching he will improve, Lenny and Kennedy probably dragged his career back 5 years.
