Do you honestly think that he is going to come in and we are going to do something next season? We have dragged out the appointment due to Howe and now still having stumbling blocks with this guy and the new season is upon us.

 

As I said the J league is more competitive, which means the teams are more evenly balanced and therefore coaches need to find an extra something to top the league. I'd bet you the top 12 teams in the J league would overall beat the top 12 in Scotland

Some of the best football I seen Celtic play under Tommy Burns with the trying to out score teams and we still never won the league.

Like you mate I havnt a clue what's gonna happen under this guy.. I don't know much about his tactics or how many plans he has.. I know zilch about the J-league apart from clips and Australian "soccer" is *...

And yes most successful teams are built on good defence.. he doesn't get that right he's *..

If the top 12 teams in the J league play the top teams in the spfl, I reckon the J league would win more games
J league 1 v SPFL 1
J league 2 v SPFL 2
and so on

 

Howe played us like a fiddle and left us in the * and the board allowed it all to happen.

That being said from what I have seen of Postecoglu since finding out he existed I like. I am cautiously optimistic although I dont think he will win the league the first season he is here. It sounds like he needs a bit of time to implement his own players and style.

 

There's always the chance that if we put pressure on them going into the second half of the season, they will collapse again like the last two times we asked questions of them.

 

Personally I don't think they will be as strong again, We need to hit the ground running and they will * it in September never mind January. As a fan base we are severely over estimating that lot

 

I want Strachan back, he'll be a laugh. I think we'd do well with him back as well.
