    I get where you're coming from and yeah I already know what it's going to be like when something goes wrong, like getting knocked out of the qualifiers.

    It's fair a lot of fans have this opinion that we should be hiring more known names and maybe a better record but we aren't going to be hiring top managers for a while, especially under our current structure. We got lucky with BR he was a "fan" and needed to rebuild his career. If he wasn't a "fan" I'm unsure if he'd have considered coming here or we'd have went for him. We haven't had many managers that haven't been associated with our club in some way.

    Regardless of that, I think we need to accept the position we are in, which is no matter who we hire, we are unlikely to win the league and even less likely to qualify for the champions League groups.

    I've done a fair bit of research on Ange and think he could be a great manager if given time and resource.

    Other people might have done a bit of research and still think he'll be a terrible appointment and that's fair too.

    But the main point is no manager should be coming into this job with no grace period or anything. Should be a clean slate for them and the chance to change things at our club.

    Makes perfect sense in this moment in time. The club fails spectacularly with mostly everything else, so why not appoint these two as well?

    If nothing else, comedy defending is on the cards next season as well.
