We're scraping the bottom of the barrel and apparently getting nowhere so I wouldn't be shocked in the slightest

 

If John Kennedy gets the job they might aswell close the entire stadium next season..

 

They need to start looking again and release a statement saying they’ve * up.

A few resignations should be forthcoming too.

 

Feel the same.

 

Thing is, who is their right mind is going to give up such a easy wage and bonus scheme to say sorry we got it wrong! The will double down and blame the fans again.

Our pre season starts very soon and we don’t even have a manager despite sacking the last one, who should’ve been sacked 8 months ago, 100 days ago.

Our board is entirely * incompetent. Not only did they fail to sack Lennon after losing at home to St Johnstone and Ross * County (who else?) they can’t even find a replacement after over 3 months with our most crucial games of the season mere weeks away.

They need to be * ousted by any (legal) means necessary

 

Honestly wouldnt surprise me if they intended Kennedy from the start and are just making this a big charade till the eventual, “we looked at many options and fell through, however we are confident that we have an exceptional coach in John and have appointed him as manager”

 

To a lesser degree they done this with Lennon IMO.

There seemed to be a consensus we would look for a quality new manager and rumour mill was in full swing, but in actual fact they only planned to appoint Lennon and didn’t even look at anyone else.

I suspect they have zero back up plan in that instance too.

 

I think the clear difference there was Lennon was actually successful in him interim role. They knew they could get away with it. They absolutely cannot get away with appointing Kennedy in time because they won't sell season tickets.

 

Agreed although I think they could appoint a wet jobby as manager and a chorus of 40,000 would renew their season book.

They really are not giving ange much chance to win over the fans ! A high percentage are bery unsure on him and giving him little time to input his methods as well as trying to implement new signings into the squad is giving him a lot of issue straight away ! My feeling is ajer , edouard and christie will be told it will be august afore they get the chance to move and the first signings in will be a cb , rb and maybe a winger so qualifiers will look aa bit like

I think with most clubs you are always going to have that. Unfortunately, a very large portion of our fanbase will renew regardless. Change is near impossible with that sort of mentality

 

Agree the boards position is untenable now with the fans and include Desmond in that as well and we don't even have a DOF or head of recruitment to get new players in never mind a manager .
The place needs gutted and think demonstrations won't be too far away against this board we are in turmoil and a * shambles and next season looks * and a ball hasn't been kicked and unforgivable .

 

There is many on here who will do the same. Happens all the time with players.

 

I would write off the qualifiers and even Europe next season. Also you are forgetting young Dembele.
