And what will always happen is some will go to games and some wont,i am not one to judge on that front as i understand the frustration. But if this is the guy they bring in then i am not going to spend a season hating.I will give him a chance and see what happens. It does seem he is not the clown many have him cast as. As a support we are guilty if doing to others what the epl do to scottish football.
Now if we end up with lennedy as manager....i will not watch a single game again till he is gone....lol.

Each to their own Wullie and fair play, but we can't afford to gamble. We are miles behind mediocrity, we have funded this club for decades we deserve more than a gamble on a 55 year old man who has never managed or played on this continent....he's * 55 and not one other big/ European club have taking a punt.

I won't spend a season hating I'll just spend a season not bankrolling. I * hate our custodians and they are taking the pish on levels beyond redemption for me.

Quoting Lennedy means nowt to me too as I would just be as * off if that came to fruition, but * this appointment if it happens.

UEFA have revealed it could take WEEKS for Ange Postecoglou to get the green light to boss Celtic.

Europe’s governing body confirmed the Aussie doesn’t have the required Pro Licence coaching badge

Celtic have now appealed — arguing Postecoglou’s 25 years’ experience should see him granted an exemption

But a Uefa spokesperson revealed it could be a lengthy process, leaving the Yokohama F Marinos boss in limbo.

A Uefa spokesperson said: “Mr Postecoglou does not currently hold the Uefa Pro Licence.

A recognition of competence procedure has been initiated. The process could take several weeks. We don’t have any further information to provide at this stage.”

Postecoglou started out in management in 1996 and spent four years in charge of Australia from 2013-17.

His only European coaching gig was for Greek minnows Panachaiki in 2008, but Uefa have now tightened rules.

Celtic remain confident he will be allowed to take over as boss, probably on the proviso he starts his Pro Licence.

It’s understood talks with Marinos have progressed well this week and compensation won’t be an issue.

But Celts could face a nervy wait to get a deal over the line, with the Hoops squad due back for pre-season on June 17.

It’s now almost 100 days since Neil Lennon left the club

Due diligence as always. "Corporate Governance" if spelled no matter in English or Mandarin would confuse our people.

Ok it seems I owe all you Aussies an apology.

He actually does have experience of European football - a 9 month stint in the Greek third division. And he got that position after winning A league titles and managing Australia’s U20s.

There are levels to this game Angie eh

The fact he manages in the J-League, is being used as a stick to beat him with is preposterous considering it's a higher standard than the SPFL.

He’s 54 and is Naka’s team mate. With Naka being 42. Both current outfield players in the magical J league

I’m not in the ‘Big Agnes’ camp...

.... but there didn’t seem to be anybody (SFA or U€FA ) raising an issue when that scouse * joined Sevco sans pro-license.

At this rate .... we will be out of Europe before we have a manager.

At least they might have a clean run at the domestic competitions.
