From going to have a 5 year plan, a clear vision of where we were going and modernising, we royally * it and i think the grand plans of this are too big to pull off where we are currently. Especially with the chaos in the boardroom. They're pulling in all directions.

So need a manager in for a couple of years to steady the ship, getting us solid and winning, whilst changes are made. Kennedy shouldn't be at the club and Keane is a terrible option for our fragile state. Could get on board with a Mark Hughes appointment just. I think the ship has sailed on any big name appointment and our reputation is terrible currently. So for me, its the most palatable of all the other choices.

But changes are required top to bottom. This club is riddled with terrible, under qualified jobs for the boys people. Cause at the moment, this club is draining the life out of me.

Is there any hard evidence of this ‘boardroom split’ being discussed?

... or is it so thing that’s just being assumed due to the current state of affairs?

I just think they are all as inept as each other and all equally as contemptuous towards the paying support.

All of them have failed recently or in the last few years. Would rather have O’Neil with Duff than any of them three mentioned.

Don't see the clubs down south rushing to appoint Howe. There were rumours about Everton but they are linked with Nuno now.

Until the club release an official statement confirming it, I refuse to believe it either

I reckon Howe will be one of them managers who takes over a side midseason after they have sacked a manager. Like a Newcastle or a Norwich or something. He won't get a job this summer because teams generally believe they could appoint someone more successful. Look at Conte, just won the Italian league and potentially on his way to * spurs. Appointments are mental the now man.

If they release an official statement denying it... then I will believe it (that there IS a split)

We really are scrambling around looking for any * :56:

Rui Faria has emerged as a potential alternative to Ange Postecoglou for the Celtic hot-seat.

The Hoops remain confident of landing new frontrunner and former Australia boss Postecoglou.

However, Record Sport can reveal that Parkhead chiefs have held tentative talks with representatives of Faria.

The Portuguese is a disciple of Jose Mourinho having spent almost two decades as his trusted number two, including assisting Porto to their UEFA Cup win over Celtic.

Faria decided to go it alone following Mourinho’s departure from Manchester United and spent a season in charge of Qatari outfit Al-Duhail where he won the title before leaving for personal reasons.

The 45-year-old is a free agent and is keen on the vacant Celtic job but Postecoglou remains the clear frontrunner.

That could be a decent appointment, in talks with Wolves as well by the looks.
