I'd imagine they wanted McKay to unveil Howe or at least make it look like he had a part in hiring him, so that the new manager couldn't be depicted as Lawwell's man.

Anyway, the whole thing's a complete shambles.

Completely agree. I think they are running about like headless chickens behind the scenes and are genuinely surprised at the situation they find themselves in. I think they thought it'd be a walk in the park and that most would jump at the opportunity as they're so unaware and out of touch that they don't realise that we are run completely amateurish compared to some league one teams in England.

Not one member of the Celtic support thinks they're doing a mediocre job at best. If they shat the bed with a few metal fences for us in October, can you imagine when the fans are allowed to attend? They'll be more fans outside the stadium than in and they'll be rightfully demanding blood.

This is the worst period of time for us since the 90s and it is entirely their fault. The writing has been on the wall for a while, we warned them that this would happen but they have failed to act and now it's too late.

Maybe its just me but i do not remember the club in the past releasing statements about not getting people signed,its normally say * all and move onto the next * person on the ladder at the bottom. They know things are bad when they have started releasing statements on failing.
