Still needs backed to an extent, we never backed Rodgers much he got the best out of existing players mostly.

And that’s why having a good manager come in and get the best out of players does.

We don’t need to spend 60/70 million. So again no point in even mentioning that.

Because a lot of Rodgers success was the feel good factor in the first season all the players buzzing and on the same page, the signs of regression started in his second season, and was on full display his 3rd, we never backed him much, McGinn fiasco etc. The entire point was good managers should be backed, 60/70m is overspending, but we dont back managersmuch by the looks, we had a good manager asking for McGinn from hibs for * sake and we * it up.

Didn't help that BR was working his ticket by season 2 and was raging that he wasn't getting considered for Arsenal. He knew then he would need to move to a team like Leicester to get a bigger move in the future

Again I don’t know why you are talking about 60/70 million, I spoke about a manager, the fact is we need a good manager regardless of the spends who will get the best out of players.

Rodgers and Lawwell clearly fell out due to Rodgers success and not being a yes man.

McGinn was Lawwell showing who the boss is and being a stubborn *.

He also never got Rodgers one of the two right backs he wanted and then as a big final * yous you brought in Shved without Rodgers consent and all them loans in the last window.

Rodgers returned the favour by leaving in February.

So back to my original point, when they * the 10 they got a good manager in.

We should be going the same but by the looks of it DD and the rest are * the club over even more.

My example was he was a good manager, at no point I've suggested we spend 60/70 million pounds.

hence why I’m saying 60/70 million is pointless at this time as we will not spend it. We never spent that under Rodgers who is a good manager and we need another good manager.

No it is not, he spent 60/70 million in the SPFL, he might have been a good manager but with that budget for transfers in 1998. Poor example using him imo, also the fact we went through a bunch of hopeless managers in that period.

How so? He was a good manager, and that’s my point. We need a good manager.

The fact of the matter is they went out and got a good manager after losing the 10.

We need to do the same. We both know it.

Celtic Football Club. One of the biggest clubs in Europe. A club like no other according to our board are a baw hair of 100 days without a permanent manager. No manager, no captain, more than 10 players needing signed and only about 6 weeks until our most important games of the season.

Haven't seen anything about them looking at other managers, think it's probably all sorted in private and just a matter of signing.
Anyway by all accounts he knocked us back before Lennon's second stint can't see much changing, if anything we are a far more unappealing proposition.

Think he will hold out so the WH board panic and back him, his stock will be pretty high now.

Unless West Ham go for bigger name maybe?

Thought it would have been renewed by now though
