    The fact Howe got Bournemouth to the EPL in the first place, then kept them there for a few seasons, is remarkable. One relegation doesn't negate all the fantastic work beforehand.

    Postecoglou went from winning the league to 9th in one season. You cant hold one bad season against managers who have been otherwise successful. Thats just daft.

    It also outweighs the current manager of Bayern Munich but I was shocked not to see Ange linked with Munich

    If Howe failed then so did Rodgers.

    Rodgers' Liverpool collapsed in the last few weeks of the 13-14 season to finish second. The following season they finished 6th - and he became their first manager since the 1950's not to win a trophy in his first 3 seasons. The season after that he was sacked by October after the had a * start to the campaign.

    Managing Hoffenheim from relegation scrappers to their first ever CL appearance, and Leipzig to their first ever CL semi-final appearance blow anything Ange has done out of the water.

    So no, Ange’s CV does not outweigh that of Julian Nagelsmann.

    The * are you on about? We were talking about what Rodgers had done before he came here. He'd won nothing and was damaged goods down south after Liverpool sacked him.

    Howe has won less than Lennon. And he's still a far better manager. Why can't you understand that?

    What about it is horse * ? He won the U19s Bundesliga as an assistant coach does that mean his CV is better than Ange's ?

    But taking Bournemouth from League 2 to the EPL for 5? years counts for nothing because he never won anything ? You don't see a flaw in that argument ?

    I see a massive flaw in that and I never said anything of the sort. Honours aren’t everything but they obviously deserve consideration.

    Eddie Howe has won more than Julien Nagelsmann in senior football so to write off Howe as he's never won anything but then say a man who has won zero in senior football has a better CV than Ange (after saying Howe doesn't) after you've went on about honours previously seems a bit flawed.

    But that's none of my business
