    * classic! Give a good fight it did, great when it's like that! What river is that? Next year, ya should hit the west of Ireland and fish the Moy near me. Brilliant salmon river! Is that river you caught that catch and release or do you just let them go yourself?

    Every salmon I catch goes back....unless it's Hooked in the vomers(gills) as it will die anyway.
    That's the River Spey...but I fish all over the world .

    I've only killed 8 salmon in the last 25 years.

    Caught today. Plenty of eating on this one for the week ahead. Wee bit of my own ivy honey and garlic will do the trick

    A great place to go and if you drive you can park right on the side of the road and go exploring.
    The wildlife is amazing, and amazing for some photography.

    I don't drive but as it looks so stunning I can maybe persuade a friend to take me there, watch this space ;)
