This is also what I've heard. * 18 days until pre season and we still have no manager and don't appear to be closer to having one. Nearly 100 days after Lennon left.

    Shambolic

It wouldn't shock me if this was a decision made by Lawell that Mckay isn't too fond of, if there is a split between appointing him.

Realistically, Lawell should have zero input in who our next manager is.

To be honest it’s warming on me a bit. Still not ideal or my first choice but I’d rather the unknown of Ange compared to a lot of the other names mentioned. Still needs backed regardless of our feelings towards the board

I pray so. Hope it's a decoy, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

My fear if Ange is the manager, will he be allowed his coaching staff and be backed with a decent transfer kitty.
Our board are a bunch of * who will give the job to this guy but won’t fully trust him with his own staff or signings.

This is the problem will the guy take the job and make compromises because he wants the opportunity.

This is our board all over, get a guy in that's grateful to be here to control him and choose his signings and backroom team. It's Ronny Deila all over again.

We are in serious trouble with the direction the club is going.

I like ronny. I actually understood the risk then as it wasn't a risk to loosing the league. He really could have came on and been an absolute gem of a manger. His results before hand were still great. It never worked. This time though, there is risk. Huge risk. Thats what's worrying.

That’s why I don’t think Keane will ever get the Job, our Board don’t want a manager who has high demands and put up with their *

Always felt though he wasn’t fully backed, he never brought his coaching staff and his transfer dealings were limited.

Yeah they want a yes man but we won't be successful with a yes man as our board have shown over the past season they don't actually know what they are doing.

I'd take Keane in a minute if I thought he was manager material. I actually think the guys great but just don't think as our manager it would work out. The media in Scotland would twist every word out his mouth and he'd fall out with all our players.

Ronny I think would have worked better with a DOF structure in place. Think that's what he had at Strømsgodset. The job was too big for him and I think he really struggled with the pressure and intensity of it . I think he's admitted to becoming a bit of recluse when he was here. Tbh I would have had fears about Howes ability to cope with the goldfish bowl that is Glasgow as well. That * Gerrard probably loves the attention

Let’s go for Roy Hodgson and be done with it. He said he was stepping away for a break, not retiring. Working with a semi professional set up like our lot will be a nice break for him..?

Nah it's more likely to be McKay's idea imo.

Coming from rugby he probably went looking for a manager in places like Australia, New Zealand, Wales, South Africa.
