It’s mental how everyone in football can see this, including supporters on this forum, but our board are still hitting out with the “Lennon with Klimala up front” pish.

We’re European minnows now. How many decades since we won a knockout tie? We’ll continue to regress until the supporters take action to remove the board and ownership.

Is it true? Whats looking like the biggest rebuild in our recent history is in the hands of someone that's spent 1.5 million quid.. it gets better:56:

That's the main worry about all this. It smacks of another Deila appointment. I really liked Ronny and could see what he was trying to do but he was in over his head and he was just happy to be here. He was the boards wet dream appointment on paper. Cheap, grateful, won't ask questions, we buy the players you coach them, here's your staff.

No sure why this reads as a dig at me and filled with sarcasm.

Maybe I am picking you up wrong, but you do realise I don't actually expect the board to do this, as we all do agree this board is a leech to us fans and won't do a single thing that would be to the benefit of us at all?

He won’t need to worry about spending money on transfers. It will be loan after loan. We have read this story before.

Obviously the board have shot themselves in the foot, but think they’ve shot themselves in the pocket too. Can’t see more than 25-30k renewing their season tickets after this. I wasn’t 100% certain on Howe but it would have shown ambition that would have seen tickets pretty much sold out. Insane way to run a club.

Definitely my biggest concern if we are going down this route.

I was really excited by Deila when we hired him but that went wrong for many reasons and really hope we have learned from that.

If we are bringing in Fergal Harkin, hopefully that means the right structure is put in place and the footballing side is run much better.

Can't believe that we have such a massive rebuild on our hands, and that we could be trusting in a guy with next to no top level european management experience.

Why are people taking about the "rebuild" and taking about the coach. His job will be to coach the team and request where he needs recruitment. It should be Harkin and a team in place doing a "rebuild"

"Postecoglu managed Brisbane Roar - where he won two titles - and Melbourne Victory in the A-League before taking charge of the national team in 2013.

His four-year tenure included managing Australia at the 2014 World Cup and steering the team to Asian Cup success a year later - the country's first major trophy.

He left after securing qualification for the 2018 World Cup and was appointed at Yokohama in December 2017, with the J League title following in 2019."

I mean * me! This is how hard we have fallen!

I couldn't care less what people think of Brendan Rodgers, we have gone from him to this * guy and it's unbelievable!

It annoys me the support just shrug their shoulders as if, “well what can you do”.

Honestly the mentality of our support these days is the same as a lower English league club just happy to plod along and hope for an occasional flukey good season.

The lack of ambition even from the stands is shocking.

There should be a protest organised at the stadium and a collective rejection of season tickets.

Most fans would rather attend an anti-green brigade protest for some * reason.

    In theory, yes.

We would all have taken Maresca in that ideal setup - a DoF of competence and a whole host of coaches, analysts, scouts, physios, 5 times the size we already have and ever have had before.
However, the DoF thing has never once been confirmed by the club and at this stage I just do not trust them to do this properly.

Any coach with an ounce of modern football knowledge should be able to work within a modern structure at Celtic and be able to get a tune out of the squad and make an impact.
But we won't actually do the structure properly. No chance.

Best we will get is Harkin getting the job in name only.

Hilarious watching people criticise the standard of a league when the league he’s coming to has Neanderthals like Jim Goodwin and Stephen Craigan regularly rack up 100’s of appearances :giggle1:
