Nobody would take the current Scotland manager either and he's the most successful one for 22 years. This guy is similar to Ronny for me and even that may be a stretch as Ronny had won a league title so young. He's 25 years in to his career and finishing 9th in Japan and by his own admission couldnt cope with the pressure at the time of the Australian youth teams.

Looking forward to revisiting these pages when you are waxing his * inside of 3-4 months when he starts beating sides by cricket scores.

When it dawns on you what you have got.

The closest manager in tactical style that I’ve seen is Marcelo Bielsa.

Scunnered doesn't quite cut it. It's like the board are actively trolling the fans at this point.

Next season will be another disaster now.

I have got to the point know I don't really give a toss who the manager is, we are well and truly fecked. 3 months to come up with a manager, all eggs in one basket with Howe leaving us in a * state. So much for the promises of structure over hall, this has Lawell all over it, supposed to be leaving but seems to be reluctantly giving up his so called leadership. We will be left with Strachan and Kennedy on the coaching staff , if not, why are they still there and not thanked for their efforts and moved on with a nice payoff? We need a number of players in and that's not including gaps that will be left with the players that will want away. There seems no change to the recruitment strategy with a number of project players already being linked to us, No scouting team of any note, qualifiers now just weeks away. A complete disaster of a season followed by the worst close season we could ever think of. It doesn't look good for next season or even the the following one as we will probably be looking for another new manager.
    Exactly mate, the bigger picture.

Even if this guy is any good, the circumstances around his appointment almost certainly spell failure. Kennedy will be back in charge this time next year : (

Ange probably woke too thinking it was all a dream ...

Potentially about to be offered a job involving a substantial increase in wages ... where the team is worth double that of the best of the opposition and 10x that of the remainder of teams in the league ... with the closest opposition also managed by a guy with 4-5 years experience ... too easy!

2 questions, if he’s so good why did his club finish 9th last year having lost more games than they’d won and why hasn’t he been at decent European club before the age of 55?

8.10 to 8.30 is decent as well. A puff piece about him where his own wife says he's not charismatic and he himself says he coudnt cope with Australia under 16s or whatever

More likely Kennedy will still be in place as this guy will turn us down for not being allowed to bring his own backroom team in !!!
