To a few posters getting they're panties in a twist and making conclusions without READING, let me reiterate.

I have formed an opinion that this guy is a good coach.
I am also, as of yet, unconvinced, that he's the right fit for US.
I am however behind the appointment, provided it keeps the likes of Lennedy and Keane away from the managers office. Which as we all know, we're a * * hair away from.

I'm also, as we all are, extremely aware that this guy SHOULD BE NOWHERE NEAR the job, given his lack of experience in Europe, his attitude towards pragmatism, and his failures to accept criticism.

I haven't talked myself into anything regarding this guys suitability for manager if CFC. And, and snidely and disgustingly as some other posters tried to conclude, whilst swinging their * stained knickers above their head, am NOT CONTRIBUTING to the malaise that has infected our club.

I said not a penny more. I meant it.

I'm not suddenly going to send my oul one half my side of the ST money for the one we share, or buy more shirts, or renew a TV package.... just because of this appointment. Get * real.

So ffs calm down. Stop attacking fellow supporters, and concentrate on the real villains here.

No most clubs in Europe would go for the best man for the job. I agree it's a ballsy appointment by the board but for totally different reason from what you think. Rangers picked Pedro over this guy. To compare this guys career with what Howe done at Bournemouth is beyond laughable and I thought a lot of our support were over rating Howe as well.

If we get this appointment wrong it's going to set us back years. I'm trying to convince myself that this ange guy might turn out great but I'm struggling, If he was that good he would've been sounded out by a decent European club years ago . Ang has been one of the best managers in that part of the world for over a decade.

People aren't upset about the calibre of coach. Years ago you could sell that to the fans, ala Ronny Diela. What your failing to grasp is the job that needs done here. We don't have a squad, all our decent players are going and the dead wood needs cleared out aswell. 15 players + will go and he needs 10 in. 7 or 8 of them first team ready. This man has no knowledge of the market, no experience of dealing in the market.

Were at a cross roads here and the new man hasn't got time to learn on the job. Keane would actually be a better fit than Angie and that thoughts grim.

 

You're might right about some things but our board is the biggest * show of European football and what they don't have for sure are balls. They hired Lennon for a reason.

The PLC continuously gets away with shrinking the club because they know how to turn the fans on each other.
