I see loads of wildlife due to the job (seals, porpoises, dolphins, sea eagles, basking sharks to name a few) but because of the PPE I wear I would never get my phone out on time to grab a picture to contribute to this thread.

    Excellent pics in here:50:

Work for Mowi mate, I know fish farms aren't everyone's cup of tea and fair play I'm not looking to get into a debate about it:56:.

Job lets you see a * of a lot of different wildlife, the site I work at is a good place for spotting all sorts:50:

Mowi is a salmon farmer, based in Norway but they have Scottish, Irish, Faroese, Chilean and Canadian branches.

There are a lot of people against the farms for various reasons including the possibility of bringing disease or lice into wild stock which I know does happen. I have to say though I've been in the job a while now and where I'm based everything seems to be well regulated but there are activists out there who trespass onto sites and get a bad picture or video and try to tar everyone with the same brush.

Back on topic, I guess a second phone could be viable I could steal the Mrs phone:56:

Seeing basking sharks is quite an experience and I also had a dolphin breach the surface about 6 feet away from the boat I was about to head off in which was some sight.

I was driving along a wee country lane this afternoon ( going to get the farm free range eggs for Sunday breakfast ) when I spotted a wee baby deer on the road about 30 foot in front of me ( sorry no phone with me for the camera ) . Wee thing looked terrified and was probably under 2 feet tall so impossible to jump over the hedgerow , when I inched forward it ran forward too , stopping at gates but no got the sense to slip through the bars . When I stopped it just stood looking at the car , but eventually it walked along the verge past the car and behind me , was a lovely wee thing .

    Yesterday I got a photo though ...

BTW guys got a wee update today for ya, managed to snag a Manfrotto 055 tripod today for £70 mint condition used twice and also got a kit lens for my D70 body for £45, not the best lens in the world I know but it's a start.

Not a picture just a thought. Bumblebees are really cute. Fluffy wee things. They would be cuddly as * if they were dog size.

Finally started to watch Springwatch. What a show, absolutely joyous TV. Any show with a Black Headed Gull is ok in my book. And, highlight of the week? It has to be Betty the Black Headed Gull. This show is getting better and better every year.
