Potential Manager Suggestions?

Can understand if this was true , think celtic will be saying heres 20million plus whatever you get from player sales and hes maybe went 50 million aint gonna cut it if you want instant success ! But i thi k budget and all this will be done already and he will be told he will get 2 or 3 loans ,2 or 3 freebies and 2 or 3 transfer fee paid players

 

Mind all we were waiting on was for Bournemouth to finish their season......

End of the day, the facts we do know are he isn't doing anything till end of season.
That's still going on in England, technically speaking.

If it's the rumoured contract thing with Bournemouth, then that would still be till end of this month as well.


I'm as * off at the club as most, I don't see why we can't have announced the deal for the "future" a month ago. A few clubs have already done just that, while actually still in a job.

If it's some sly deal to allow him still to be paid by Bournemouth, then I'm not seeing how Bournemouth would be sitting there dumb as *, still paying him when any reasonable lawyer would have a field day with the knowledge he's taking the Celtic job.

Then the rumours that it's the coaches heads not wanting to be turned before play off was finished. Another dumb story, as even if he does want that staff, are we pretending that Howe has agreed to come to Celtic 6 weeks ago, but hasn't spoken to the coaches and asked them to come with? That he himself hasn't said a word to someone about the potential job? Never buying that, they coaches will know if that's the case as well. So heads would have been turned, regardless of it being public knowledge or not.

So, a few reasons that don't exactly make sense, and each one is just folk guessing to try and look like they are on the ball


End of the day, he's said(his agent etc) that nothing is being decided till end of season for him.

That'll be in England, so chances are it'll be next week at least.


It's easy to work out and simple, but it's * frustrating as they really could have announced it quite simply and telt us he will join on the 1st June.

Plenty of us would accept that, then the club could be actively going around promoting new merch, getting some coaches in (because by * we better bring more than the 2-4 Howe wants), and actually had some positivity around the club.

But no, this board are content on * off the fans as much as they can this season and seek to actively want to show us that they are in control.


Which we will see soon enough how many fans are fickle enough to keep feeding this board with their money

£50mill is * plenty to win the league ffs.

£25mill on a new defence immediately, the rest used to spruce up and offer competition in other places.

The sheer night and day difference in analysis, coaching and tactical awareness between Howe and Lennon will be half the job.

Howe will be making sure players know their role, their position, their responsibility... With 3 new, first reamers on LB, RB and CB we will instantly see a more solid and professional outfit.

Turnbull, McGregor, Soro in the middle is sexy.

Forrest and Dembele out on the right.

Mikey and a new guy on the left.

Ajeti, Griff (he's not going anywhere as no * will buy) and a new striker is plenty and I've no doubt the difference in standards that comes with Howe will get the best out of these players.

£50mill is * plenty to win this league back.

That new striker would want to be something else because I'd be terrified gping in to a season with just Griffiths and Ajeti.

 

Why would the club announce season ticket renewals with that line about wishing a manager was in first, if Howe was even close to being done

 

Silver lining would have been them taking our interim manager

 

That line gives me the fear

 

Is Griffiths not free to leave for * all now anyway?

 

We had hoped to have announced the Manager before providing this update, and we do intend to finalise the appointment of the next Celtic Manager shortly, however we have been encouraged by the recent announcement of crowds at sporting events across Scotland this summer.

 

I thought it was done and dusted but I agree with this. The club are clearly ripping the * now. Season tickets have every right to be angry.
