The problem is that half the squad seemed to have wanted out last summer, hindsight is great but we simply couldn’t sell these players if we wanted to take the ten seriously.

 

Ntcham wanted out years ago so not an excuse, we had years to bring in an extra centre back to replace Ajer and we didn't even Turnbull was here to replace Christie, Toney and Ajeti as a pair to replace Eddy. Too many loans over the years * us too.

 

I think he was kept at the end to give eddy a pal

 

Why on earth would we release this * with a year left on his contract?

This sounds completely bizarre, surely we could have recouped SOMETHING for it?

 

Only reason is he is genuinely that * toxic

 

Would any of you have been confident about a club bidding for him? He was a total flop at Marseille.

Correct decision to let him go......albeit far too late. Will probably head to League 2 obscurity in France all because of his pishy attitude. The shedding of * continues. Positive.

To release him from his contract there has to be something more to this story. We'd have had to pay out his contract. Why wouldn't we just make him available on a free transfer if we had to get him out?

Far too inconsistent and didn’t want to be here. Went to Marseille and has been a total dud. Would we have got anywhere near £5m for him? No chance. Not too bothered if he’s gone already, won’t be missed.

 

Absolutely mate, you’d get a couple million for him off of someone willing to take the risk.

 

Or pay a fortune for someone who was clearly unfit
