Potential Manager Suggestions?

It’s mad, I’m starting to get fed up with Howe and he’s not even started.

 

I didnt think we were pinning our hopes on Bournemouth not getting promoted I just thought we were waiting until their season was over before pinching their staff

 

Maybe it's a compensation package that changes if they get promotion ?

Must be some reason, surely. Other than our board being tight fisted *, as usual.

 

If Howe is wanting the job there shouldn't be any problem announcing him tomorrow as the season is over and the support need some good news.
We did that with Rogers and then his staff joined six days later I don't understand the hold up unless the deal isn't cut and dried and that would be a * joke .

 

It’s all getting a bit boring with the whole Eddie Beige “will he? won’t he?”.

 

I'm as fed up as anyone with this - if we have a deal in place with Howe and his chosen assistants but don't want to go public while Bournemouth are still in the playoffs - I can understand that but would expect an announcement of the manager and full backroom team on either Mon 24th or 31st May.

However, once Bournemouth are finished with the playoffs - if we get an announcement that says something along the lines of Eddie is in but we're now starting to negotiate with the potential backroom staff - that is indeed a * joke.

 

The club have never planned for anything since DD has taken over. So that would be a big fat * no.

 

So tomorrow is the day?

Have expected for weeks that today would be the day we here something, early signs do not look good at all. If he isn't announced today I really worry that we are actually nowhere near getting a new manager in

Clearly * not!

 

I think hiring a DOF is equally or more important than announcing a new manager.

We need a proper structure in place, someone who will setup a system that has the right scouting team, analytics team and manager and coaching staff. We can’t have a repeat of Brendan Rodgers coming in and doing fantastic work then leaving and we have nothing in place.

It’s the same as our transfers right now, no succession plan. We really don’t have replacements for anyone, Ajer, Brown, Christie, Edouard, maybe McGregor, Elyounoussi and so on.

It’s * and I really hope we restructure properly. Maybe just me, but that would be more positive to see than here is the new manager. I’d rather a long term plan for success than a couple seasons before the new manager leaves and we’re in the same position.
