Potential Manager Suggestions?

That’s the fear descended on me now

 

I don't understand the theory on him waiting to see if his coaching team he had at bournemouth will work with him or not will decide on whether he joins a new club or not.
If bournemouth do get promoted is he going to wait another year for a job and hope bournemouth go down so he can get his team or go back to bournemouth as manager?
It may be a preference but surely it is not a deal breaker, if his career is dependant on a specific coaching team he may be unemployed for a while

 

I thought it was more to do with not wanting to disrupt their play off plans. If he's announced manager before their play offs the speculation about his coaching staff will intensify and might prove a distraction for Bournemouth who are trying to get promoted

 

Is the only logical explanation if we are waiting on that, however I think it's just the same old Celtic incompetence here, where we happily wait out the season before announcing it thinking we are being coy and then do great pr work

Clubs so far removed from the fans right now, they aren't able to sense that the announcement of Howe next week will be met with "thank *, bout time" rather than "yayy Howe"

They'd have been more sensible announcing Howe at the same time as saying Kennedy was interim till end of season, least then the fans would have known the plan.
Why we give a * about Bournemouth is beyond me.
Wasn't like Leicester gave a * about us when they came poaching.

I don’t buy that at all. Why would back room staff etc hold up an announcement. All looks pretty dodgy. Useless * of a board.

Possibly but it shouldn't effect the appointment of Howe if the deal has been agreed, can announce the coaching team at a later date

 

Maybe he doesn't trust Lawell not to pull a fast one over the coaching staff.

 

Wouldn't it have been more beneficial to get the new man in as quick as possible? Allow him to familiarise himself with players that will still be here next season and see who he might a tune out of? identify what are the priority positions that need reinforced? start implementing tactics over the course of competitive games, to allow those that will be here next season a chance to familiarise themselves with what's required of them going into next?

In short, get the massive rebuild that's required going as soon as possible to give us a fighting chance going into the qualifiers?

 

Exactly, it's a nonsense theory. If he is spinning this to the board it reeks of stringing us along to see if anything else comes up

 

toney ones a strange one , he was at cetic park to sign and celtic got cold feet on the deal ! So if hes said hes signing it looked a sthough he was up until the last details but i think with edouard staying that stopped the deal

 

Still see no reason why anything will be announced before the season closes, not my logic just Celtic’s.

I’m hearing from a good source Howe is to be announced last month.

 

It obviously highly likely it will be Howe so the ITK Brigade are taking punts on dates to try and look like they know what's going on.

 

All seems to have gone quiet on the DoF front as well

 

I get the feeling it isn't happening to be honest.
