That’s rich giving some of the * you’ve spouted on here, the rest of your post is condescending as *! I suppose you will be satisfied as soon as you get something back, whatever that is I’ve not got a clue.

my oul wan is claiming he won't renew until a manager is in place, but the moment his "club" tell him him he has to renew or someone else gets his seat he'll fold like origami.

I gave up my ticket 7 years ago to move abroad. If I was still home not a chance would I renew.

aye I’ll be folding like origami on behalf of my son and me, though the board won’t be as certain as in previous seasons, hence no season ticket renewals as yet

Its been a shocking season, and the board have done a lot of things wrong, not getting rid of Lennon earlier, not getting a new manager in quick enough etc, however financially we were backed this season, both keeping players, who in hindsight would maybe have been better letting go, and signing players, who have turned out to be not worth the money.

We have pretty much had 20 years of dominance, and as hard as this season has been to accept, to me, it wouldn't feel right not to back the team and renew.

Next season, due to the turnover in players, that was always going to be required, was always going to be tough, regardless of whether we won the league this season or not, and not being there to support us wouldn't sit right for me.

I get the prospect of us issuing ST renewals, when they haven't got us a manager in place and we don't even know if we will definitely be allowed back in to games, is pretty shambolic, and I understand the fans who think it would be best not too renew, however the thought of giving up a ticket I've had since I was toddler, on the back of our first proper shocking season in 20 years, isn't something I think I could do.

Doubt I’m renewing, on top of all the other stuff I’ve had my hours cut at work and struggling to find a new job.

Apparently, the plan is some level of rebate on renewal of the season ticket for next year. Think a few teams have gone down this road already, sure Aberdeen have gone along those lines.

I'm not sure if that is an entirely convincing level of "added value" for those who have backed the club. I'm not a season ticket holder myself. So I can't answer for others and don't know the terms and conditions with regards to this year.

I've been told the Corporate Tickets have received some financial reimbursement for this year's season tickets. Along with some other "added value" options.

Again the fans have sacrificed a lot. And have been badly short-changed by the club with regards to their impact on this shitshow of a season. Would hope to see a bit more goodwill and value from the club throughout next season. As much as we have a lot of work to do on the field, they have just as much, if not more to do off it.

In all honesty, I'd expect we can financially afford it more than Motherwell can.

Mibbe we should send them our ‘more than a club’ banner cos they’re living up to it more than our * PLC

then again we are probably gonna need it to cover the seats again

Noises are that Motherwell have some sort of financial/insurance cover or whatever the correct term is that covers the potential loss of refunds.

Anyone who thinks Motherwell can afford to do it more than we can is mad.

We have something like £30 mil in the bank, many players to sell that could easily recoup that value, we’ve reduced our wage bill a lot and we have the chance to get in to the group stages of the CL or hopefully as a minimum EL which would make up for any losses.

We will never do something like that, I wouldn’t be surprised if we increase the prices this year and have a campaign that goes along the lines of because of COVID we need to stand together now more than ever.

Whereas Motherwell got £3ish mil for Turnbull and are getting a compensation fee for their next best player, Campbell and don’t really have any players that can make much money back. Also, they don’t have the chance to make money in Europe.

I hate to say it, but that is an incredible gesture from Motherwell and I wish our board would do something like that.

If that’s true I’d expect our board to have something similar.

Mate. Our board didn’t even give households that bought 2-3 or 4 season tickets anything off knowing fine well they would all be watching on the same computer stream
