Ive said the above before as i think we have some better players ( apart from defence )

But to dismiss his European record is bonkers. He isn’t the best manager about but he is good.

 

His back room staff are very good. I'm yet to be convinced he is

First 6 months Davidson was just settling into the job, since around December they've been solid, just shipped too many during the first half of the season

Because Michael Beale is a good coach and ex players have more or less said he's the brains of the operation

 

If we are considering Callum Davidson, we ought to consider Tommy Wright too, no?

 

We’ll have to agree to disagree mate, they have done well in europe in my opinion which is where us and them should be judged.

The X amount of trophies argument can go both ways, Lennon has won a few in slippys time up here and I don’t rate him one bit, in Europe it was a disaster apart from the Lazio games.

 

Everyone agrees with you that he has done a good job but you yourself have said he won't get the gig so what's the issue. He's done well..agreed, he won't get the gig...agreed. Let's move on pls.

Just for the record I do agree with your main point that Davidson is showing potential and no doubt they have had a fantastic season and I've been impressed with them but I disagree with you that he should be getting considered for us right now.

1. It's far, far too early in his managerial career to know if he will continue to achieve. If he does similar over a prolonged period or with another club then maybe that would be the time to consider him.

2. After the season we have just had the fans demand to be appeased with a big name. Nothing less will do in order to galvanise everyone for next season (& basically to sell season tickets). Callum Davidson is not that.

Genuinely I like how you have brought a different perspective and try to have discussion even if it's a bit out there sometimes but It's much better to have a diverse forum like that than just those posters seeking an echo chamber. Just think you're flogging a dead horse here
