    We aren't making the CL.

But if we are to have a chance next season we need the Huns to fail to get there too.

Can you honestly see them failing against * like Ferencvaros or Cluij?

The huns are not going to get a financial advantage over us from one European run next season. Even if they make the CL and we slam out of everything at the first hurdle.

They are doing share issues on a monthly basis right now to generate £2million+ at a time, on top of their normal short term loans, losses etc of around 8-10million a year. They need to cover anywhere over £20million next season, just to cover their * from this season and Covid. Then they need another 8-10million to cover their annual short fall.

They would need to do the CL last 16 about 3 years on the trot before they could realistically be "stable" and have an actual financial advantage, even then - it would require us to squander everything in that time as well.

That is up there with not getting the 10 as a massive regret. We could have put them into liquidation in the same way that happened to Rangers. They are absolutely skint and although I think Covid helped them, because their scum fans were not at their * pit, they are really struggling for cash. That’s why King has walked away, no doubt about that in my view.

If we done the 10 this year, they would have went in to administration for sure. They have thrown everything at this season, leading up to it.
They will smooth their books over with the expected influx of cash, but all it will do is continue to paper the cracks a bit longer.

We can't let them build and we stand still. Or they very well may stumble in to a situation they get their finances sorted.
Their entire setup is spending like they have CL money every couple seasons, we can't let them actually get there.

No, probably not. And, unlike us, they will spend appropriately if they get there.

Maybe I could have worded that a little better. I did mean over a period of 2 or 3 seasons.

Let's face it, realistically we're not winning the league next year either. That'll be 2 seasons they get a crack at CL money and, unlike us, they are more likely to spend that money on improving their playing staff. The financial advantage being they will spend money, possibly that they don't have, and we won't, properly anyway. 2 or 3 seasons of that will see them actually catch up.

Besides, we've heard all this stuff about their finances since they were formed. I don't even believe any of it anymore. Its the same crap reeled out year after year, probably more in hope than anything else.

Fair about the years they will need man.
I do think though, we get even half of our * together and we will get the title back next season. Even those who remain after the mass exodus happens, will still be capable (under a proper coaching system) to oust the huns.

As for their finances, it is all there in black and white. I aint going to predict their downfall for next week or anything, but it is clear to see they are diluting shares on a monthly basis to generate quick cash flow and every season are 8-10million in debt. They get through by skin of their teeth and the SFA/SPFL (honestly does anyone know which part of this shambles is in control of what in Scotland any more?) turning a blind eye to their nonsense.

I don't know if things can possibly get worse bcoz going by how Celtic fc are run anything is possible. It's how we improve when we are run by complete charlatans who kept Lennon in the job too long and 3 months later we still have no manager. Losing 4-1 to a team st Johnstone outplayed tells me the players we have couldn't give a * about what it means to play for Celtic. I honestly don't know where we go from here but the fans need to come up with ideas to let our feeling known.

With the likes of Desmond, Lawwell and Bankier making decisions then it can get a lot worse.

They wouldn’t have gone in to admin again, they’d have just sold most of their squad, Morelos alone will probably go for at least £15m alone. Plus they seem to have backers who are quite happy to continually lose money, they weren’t in any danger of going under.

Anyway you look at it the board are totally * incompetent and allow those zombie *'s overtake us on the pitch and soon off it as well if we don't get our act together .
The new manager needs to be backed next season and try to catch up on them and forget the champions League it's not happening as the new manager would have to be a miracle worker with a new set of players only together a couple of weeks .
