In the league, aye. But overall, not in the slightest.

Rodgers won a domestic treble in his first season. Gerrwank has won 1 trophy out of.....what.....8 or 9?

His 20min cameo today just reinforced the fact that McGregor can't paly that depper CM role. Get him further forward next season (in the role Ely played today). Need to find someone with a bit of dig to play beside Soro and suddenly we've got a really good looking midfield and wide players.

The defence is going to take a bit more work unfortunately..

And yet every time we sell a player with a big profit being made some people wet them selves thinking how we can go out and buy a big name player with the money.

Its nonsense,in most cases when we make a profit on a player the majority of cash is not put back into the squad, imo it makes little difference how much we get for a player, as you have pointed out in most cases we buy players for buttons with the hope they turn out to be diamonds in the rough.

The lack of professionalism that has gradually took hold of the club in general and the playing squad in particular basically came to a head today. How can we hope to accomplish anything when the vast majority of our players aren't fit, don't work hard and don't fight their corner? Add to that the continued use of a formation that has never worked and the continual selection of players who are out of form, past it or just don't want to be here anymore and why should we be surprised at the result. I said some months back the basic difference between the sides is that sevco are a team whereas we are just a collection of players and that is still the case. Despite all the hype sevco are far from unbeatable. They work hard, fight for each other and have a direct style which creates plenty of chances for themselves. They are also good from set-pieces. That said they rely an awful lot on McGregor to save their skins and even though we have been so poor against them we have still managed to create lots of really good goal scoring opportunities. We could easily have put 7 past them these past two games but there you go. The new manager, whoever here he is(I'm not convinced it's going to be Howe personally),needs to change both the mindset and fitness levels of the players as a priority and build from there.

For all you know we have a manager, he could have already decided who he is bringing in and who he is letting go. Jose is a guy who keeps his cards close to his chest .

You always need to get the basic thing right and that's the spine of the team and that's a good goalkeeper and two good centre halfs and à good midfielder and a good centre forward and we fall down on three sections of the team .

What gets me is this hun team is 9 year old and have absolutely wiped the floor with us and are better in every department. Celtic board should hang there heads in shame totally scunnered .Throw in our champions league money and transfer money over the last 9 years it's actually a * disgrace they are anywhere near us

The * state of that * today our 3rd choice gk last season in nets, two loan players one *,the other playing as as winger when he ain't one,a bang average youth player at cb, undroppab!e midfielder and Capitan who is done and already decided he'd rather be at aberdeen, * Kilmarnock level lb,only decent striker we have out of form, rather be anywhere else only winger at the club only back from injury, complete * pretending to be a manager .What could possibly have went right

Celtic fans have had to put up with an absolute collapse and humiliation that has been caused by the custodians of our club being arrogant and incompetent. We need change now this should never have happened.

Yes we can lose but the amount of decision that have been wrong is unbelievable. Our scouts, manager, coaches, players have all been extremely poor in the past two seasons. The decline has been extreme and only Lawwell and his cronies can be held responsible. They took a gamble by hiring people they must have known weren't up to scratch and thought they could get away with it.

This ` core of players` are not overnight failures. What they are, are a team of mismanaged players forced to play a tactical game by tactic- less managers. A good manager would take these players and wipe the floor with Rangers. I look forward to next season.

I hope every player, clueless managers, recruiting staff and biscuit tin mentality board, are remembered forever as part of the incompetents who denied us 10 in a row and brought shame and embarrassment on our club this season.

As soon as we went down to 10 men it was always on the cards to ship 4 or 5. They're a better team than us.

Maybe now those people who repeatedly said that they're * and that there's not one player from their team who would get a starting place in our first eleven should wake up and smell the coffee. I would gladly exchange Bain, Kenny, Taylor, Laxalt and Christie for the likes of McGregor (if he wasn't a bitter orange *), Barisic, Goldson and Aribo. *, even Davis (if he also wasn't an orange *) would do a better job in midfield than what we had today. These are * times for us and the new manager will have a massive task to turn this around in time for next season.

No thanks pal. I wouldn't have any of them in my team. You weren't saying that when they were getting pumped every season lol now we collapse and make them look good they are suddenly amazing? I'm not buying that!

Except that they got some decent results in Europe too , if we keep blaming it all on us collapsing we will stop short of going that extra mile needed to get the job done properly , we have to accept they are better and its not all on our failure .
