I’m sure he said that guys. I want to see it again though as I still can’t believe it and was pretty tuned out during the interview like all of us are.

Starting to think I might have misheard but on the other hand that observation would totally some us and Kennedy up.

That is staggering that he's said that was our game plan. No wonder we're laughing....they're all treating this as a jolly..

 

I'm not trying to defend Kennedy but the squad we have has serious weaknesses and I think we'd struggle to change much. Our defense is shocking and we are lacking quality in that area. Our wings are pish too not many options for radical change. It all comes back to Lawwell he's ran us into the ground.

 

Unfortunately unlike down in Largs you can't save your game before the match and restart it if your tactics go to *.

Honestly cannot believe I was defending this guy a few weeks ago.

He is very clearly a big part of the problem, and should have left when Hibs came calling last year, I will honestly despair if he's involved next year, even in the background.

 

The major people responsable are Lawwell and Desmond. They allowed the standards to slip that far. An accountant who thinks he is brilliant in recruitment. An owner that thinks Lennon is a great manager. Unless the board and Desmond are cleared out we won't progress sustainably.

Kennedy though is an absolute clown and as brilliant a coach that he can't coach a team how to defend high ballsin the course of a season. Rodgers wanted him at Leicester. Yeah, exactly That was a Lawwell smoke bomb to keep him as a cheap choice.

 

I agree with all of that the guys running the club are completely responsible for running us into the ground from a position of strength unforgivable.

I think we're going to need to be patient lads, this could take two or three seasons to fix.

I initially thought we would get Howe in and storm the league no bother. Now I'm not so sure.

Such a big task and rebuild now, we need a goalkeeper to settle in, get used to his new defenders, I reckon we will have an entirely new back four next season as well. A Brown replacement, a new left winger, another right winger. Probably another CM, another CAM, and then we're looking at three strikers, if Griffiths leaves as well then four probably.

And that's bare bare bones. Our recruitment has to be spot on, will it be? I don't know.

So aye, buckle up everybody. Going to be a difficult year or two ahead.
