I wasn’t dead against him staying if the new manager wanted him here, but he’s shown he’s incompetent beyond belief.

Part of a coaching team that can’t instruct the players how to defend set pieces. He’s had a chance to stamp his authority on the team and he’s bottled it. Picking the same players who have let us down all season.

Today is a sackable offence, even for an interim manager. Taking your only recognised striker off at 3-1 down is shameful.

His comments a couple of weeks ago about us being the best team in the country were incredibly naive. Even if you’re daft enough to believe that you never say it out loud under the circumstances. It’s an instant pep-talk for the other team at a time when their motivation would’ve been dipping.

 

Should have been shown the door with Lenny. All he’s done is add fuel to fire for how bad we’ve been.
