i don't get the Kennedy hate... since his injury he has been with the club in some form or another he even didn't join the snake when he left. don't get me wrong I don't want him as manager but I do see there being some role for him within the club

On what basis does he deserve a role at the club?

He's a qualified and experienced coach with a good CV. He could probably get good references from managers he has worked with too.

If you look at it objectively he is qualified for a role at the club.

The mention to lennon and Kennedy was becuase you were on about "knowing the club" which is utter *.

Howe brining burchil, that's sound as far as I care, he's worked with him before so obviously values his input, I have no strong feelings on burchil at all so we agree there, if howe wants him cuase he's good at what he does sound

We have no idea what any of our coaches are like day in, day out or what they bring to the table.

Question could be said about pretty much everycunt at the club. All we know is he has been a coach in a very successful set up for us and he isn’t good enough to be manager.

Irrelevant when we can actually witness how * his performance is.

Any coach that can allow our set piece defending to go on as it has this season is a bad coach.

Should he be promoted to a manager, assistant manager or DOF role? Absolutely not. Thankfully it’s looking like those ships have sailed.

Should be be forced upon our new manager in any capacity? Absolutely not.

If neither of these things happen, should we, as a club, “find some kind of role for the guy”? Absolutely not. If there’s a role that needs filled, find the best man for the job.

Very true. My point is more got to do with the idea of him being promoted (thankfully looks like that won’t happen) or being forced upon our new manager.

If neither of these things happen, why then must there be “some role” to shoehorn him into at the club? If the new manager comes in and says “I want JK” that’s a different story altogether.

This club is bigger than John Kennedy. I like that we are a compassionate club in all regards but it appears to me it’s time to cut ties with John (unless of course the new manager wants him).

To be honest I think even Pep would have hard time getting that bunch of non trying selfish * to organise themselves at set pieces

Saddest thing is - our set pieces have definitely improved under him rather than Lenny. That’s how * bad we’ve been this season.

To be fair, and I don’t say this lightly, it was * impossible to get any worse. We still conceded a soft one at Pittodrie.

I have been shocked by how disappointing Kennedy has been as stand in. I didn't expect an incredible turn around but I did expect him to do his own thing. Some (lots) of his decisions have been idiotic. It actually looks just like Lennon never left, * lineups and * subs. This will be capped off with Brown playing 90 mins tomorrow.

And then the final game as well, as a farewell. Because every game is too important to allow us to bring in fringe players deserving a chance (Soro)

Couldn't agree more. He said on national television after that debacle that he'd lost the dressing room. I can't think of any graver public admission for a manager to make yet the Board did nothing. Sickening.

His CV also says he can't develop players without Rodgers. The only players that shined since he and Lennon are in charge were Turnbull who has been very good but you don't see a development and Frimpong who had stagnated since last season as well.

I don't know how true the rumour was that Rodgers wanted him to join him at Leicester but since Rodgers left the team hasn't shown why he should have asked. And since he is in charge alone he has shown to use the same failed tactics and players. Playing his mates instead of young players showes you how good a coach and developer he is.

Why do * keep quoting random arseholes from Twitter on here?
If it’s not someone directly involved in the game or our club it’s just utter guesswork.

Although to be fair she doesn’t say which club will be announcing Howe :fear:
