I'd love Mourinho just to see the look on Boyd's face.

I'd love Boyd to have a heart attack live on TV but no one would be able to tell as he talks some amount of pish at the best of times.

 

If we are pushing the boat out on anything it should be on a coach/manager. I'd rather pay for mourinho or whoever else and have the benefit of player development and European qualification Vs giving it to Lennon in the showers and hoping he squeezes past feverancos in first round in qualification. A Celtic manager that qualifies for cl is paying his own pages in current climate

Mourinho is a fud, but let's be honest, we have went from Neil Lennon to John Kennedy as interim manager, anyone who would turn their nose up at Mourinho after that is mental. No that it is ever going to happen mind you.

Forget how we couldn't afford Mourinho's wages, could you imagine his expression when he hears how much money there is available for the rebuild?

We would need the fans back in for him to get right into it I think. To get the full Celtic experience you need the massive home crowds and noisy away hardcore following. I feel anyone who comes up to Scotland could get bored very quickly in soulless stadiums playing on plastic pitches. I think that’s the main reason players & coaches ‘get it’ up here. I reckon a few of the guys who have just came in this season must be thinking * is the big deal about playing here. This seasons shambles wouldn’t have helped but even if we had won the league they wouldn’t have had near half the Celtic experience. I knows there’s a ton of work to do on and off the pitch but I can’t help but think just having a full paradise or a rammed away end up in Aberdeen making a huge difference.

Jose has a soft spot for us I'm sure from things I've read when he's spoke about us, maybe he could lead us as the first team to win the CL from a league outside the top 5 since he did it with Porto, will take mental defensive tactics but won't bother me if it gets results

If we have approached Jose then we can assume that Howe has either turned us down or was never in contention in the first place.

I understand financial concerns, but Mourinho would be, far and away, the best manager we could hope to appoint if he were interested. He is one of the best managers of all time.

I'd take a punt on him, if he accepts he disny need much in the way of wages.
