I thought for about 7 years the world had stopped making any other crisps when my kids were younger. Every time I went to the crisp stash it was the only ones left. Quite like them though.

Daughter has booked us for a meal at the Glencairn in Dumbarton in May, it's my favourite place for a meal @Marie is familiar with it in fact it's got quite the reputation for miles around, can't wait :36:

Enjoy it hunni, I'm sure you will :50:...for a pub it certainly serves great food and is very well regarded " Going for a wee Glennie" is the term we use down here lol

Grill on the Bridge is lovely too, it's just at the corner on the opposite side. Their creamy enchiladas are superior to the Glencairn's in my opinion....I'm a wimp with chilli's so I haven't tried the Cajan Enchiladas at the Glencairn.

Didn't know about Grill on the Bridge will definitely give it a try Marie I also like where it's located next to the water it's nice to walk off the massive portions they give you :)

The Grill on the Bridge is only open weekends granted, so can't book during the week, unless that's changed.

Yeah, you get really big portions, definitely value for money in the Glencairn and I agree, a walk along the quay is lovely, not sure how far you can go down stream but they are developing the harbour area and should be able to walk right round to the Castle at some point.

Plus the Glencairn used to be the go to pub after Celtic games....our bus would leave from The Lennox Bar in the High Street, that was before the Dumbarton Harp CSC started after a split between members and a lot of us would go into the Glencairn after the game...always enjoyed getting a Midori or two back in the day lol.

If you are ever having a bad one, just put this on and have 4 minutes of having a smile on your face. The world seems more tolerable after........honestly :50:

Waking up on a bank holiday still a bit tipsy and being at that wonderful point in life you refuse to check who you phoned, what you may have said or posted, but just accept your were probably a delight as usual.

Being in my dad's house yesterday for the first time in a year with my son. The result was pish but that was priceless.

    Putting on new socks

Telling you, if I win the lotto I'd have a room dedicated to socks and everyday I'd put on a new pair of socks and bin the ones from the day before.

    That's the dream right there.
