Our midfield got overrun in the middle of the park. For their first goal, McGregor was the one who gave away the ball initially and then Brown completely sold himself. I still think the pass from Kent to Morelos was offside however. Said it straight away yesterday when I was watching the game. In no way was Brown our best player yesterday though, he had no impact whatsoever in my opinion. The lockdown has had a massive impact on him, he has looked miles off it since then. He has been a great servant, but him moving on next season is the correct decision.

I watched the first 30 mins and I noticed Broony was running around like shepherd and having a word with his Bhoys. Like he was showing Aberdeen that he was on his way. * knows, suppose it was a strange situation for the man. Good luck Broony

Will weaken the sheep midfield if starting every game, thats how * he is now. Should just retire from playing.

Following the Club's recent announcement regarding plans to pay tribute to our captain fantastic, Scott Brown, at our last home match of the season on May 12, 2021 (versus St Johnstone), we are pleased to outline arrangements for supporters.

We realise it has been a very difficult year for supporters, not being able to access Celtic Park and unfortunately, this remains the case. But from Saturday, May 8, to Monday, May 10, the Club will be arranging a collection point where fans can leave their tributes, be that jerseys, flags, banners etc.

This point will be open from 10am-4pm on these days and will be positioned at the Clyde Gateway Car Park, adjacent to the Jock Stein Stand. This can be accessed on foot or by car by entering from the Clyde Gateway road.

Club staff will then be gathering any tributes across these days and will arrange and put on display across the stadium for Scott's last match as a Celt at Paradise.

Scott has been the most influential figure in Scottish football during the past 15 years, lifting Trebles, titles and trophies galore. He has given a decade and a half of his life to Celtic and it is only right that Celtic Park, the dear green place he has graced for so long, gives him a great send off.

Already, the Club has launched a special commemorative charity badge around this match, which will raise funds for two fantastic causes, our Football for Good Fund and the Edinburgh Sick Children’s Hospital, a charity very close to Scott’s heart.

But we also want to make sure that on his last game at Paradise, the Club and fans can further mark the phenomenal contribution of a true Celtic Legend. Everyone at the Club will miss Scott and everything that he brought to Celtic.

We are sure the colour and support will be appreciated by Scott, someone who has done so much to deliver success to the Club and our fans. He will always be held in the highest esteem and we are sure our fans will want to pay tribute to a Celtic great.

While we know Scott’s last game at Celtic Park will be a poignant occasion, it is important we also celebrate the contribution of a real club legend. Thank you for your continued support.

Please note, anyone who wishes to have supporters club banners etc returned should contact Celtic’s Supporter Liaison Officer, John Paul Taylor – jptaylor@celticfc.co.uk or @CelticFCSLO

Although this seasons been a disaster it’s a sad end for broonys time with us that he can’t get a send off with a full stadium

I’m gutted I can’t be there for his last game personally. One of my favourite ever players for us.

We’ll miss him more than people think imo, we’re that used to him being there a lot goes under the radar. Fair play to him moving on, but I’ll be near tears seeing him against us.

Spot on mate. Cruel how this seasons gone, and of all the players/people to deserve the 10 he was the main one. He’ll 100% bully any of our midfield next year too; all a soft touch compared to him. Like you say we’ll miss him more than we think at the minute

No idea about anything with us next season, it’ll be new territory. Guaranteed he’ll wind us up no end though.

Like Robson done at Aberdeen as well, I appreciated that’s why I loved him at Celtic by then though. Suspect Broony will be more annoying though.

It’s not been a cruel season, and he was part of the reason we are so far behind. I love him and was really hoping he would take a coaching role with us, but as a player his time was well and truly up for us last season.

He couldn't get near Ross County's midfield this season. We'll be much better next season under (new) management.

We will undoubtedly miss him though. We all miss the old Scott Brown now.

He has been a great player and a great captain for us and at times dragged the team through games. unfortunately his best playing days are behind him and it’s a pity he didn’t get to have a proper send off hopefully when he visits with the sheep next season and we are back in the stadium he’ll get a good response then.

Ach it’s a good laugh. People get too uptight about things like that.
