Kennedy picked Brown today. But the season was over well before Kennedy took charge of the team. Hence why I didn’t specifically focus on today with my initial post.

99% of people will read that post and find no fault with it. It’s the usual mob who take offence to it. The mob who, if it was up to them, would still have He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named in charge.

This is a bit bizarre.

Why do you care so much that he mentioned Lennon? It was done in the context of Brown and the previous managers insistence on playing him to the detriment of the team.

Also, it’s hardly surprising that people keep mentioning Lennon. The unprofessional nature of his appointment and his subsequent tenure is the most damaging thing to happen to the club in our modern history.

we all loved and adored Lennon at one point. The fact is he was the wrong choice at the wrong time and this the consequence of that. He should’ve walked or been sacked when it was going wrong and became too much for him to repair but it’s done. He is a legend and yes he stayed beyond his welcome but let’s move on and back the club to get it right this time around. HH
