In his retirement letter he missed the part where he discribed how he managed to half our turnover from 100m 3 years ago. Last year it already lowered to 70m thanks to this brilliant business man and this year I fear it's probably going down to 50m. And covid isn't the big reason for that. The bigger is lowering our players value by hiring * managers and coaches.

Looks like he wanted to takes as down as his goodbye present. He's a *

Yeah he has been allowed to stay to long. He got lazy and took risks with our club that never should be allowed to happen again. Glad the new guy starts tomorrow.

A chief executive should have one eye on short term targets, whilst simultaneously keeping an eye on long term planning to ensure success continues in the future.

As much as 9iar + trebles we’re gratefully received, for 2-3 years everyone could see the defence has been a complete shambles in Europe and recruitment was seriously flawed, resulting in Lustig, Ayer and Britton all being asked to play in important qualifiers in unfamiliar positions. Throw in a whole host of poor signings Bolingoli, Allen, Scepovic - we’ve all got our favourites here!!
This lack of proper investment has cost the club it’s biggest potential revenue from competitions.

Added to the fire sale of talent such as VVD, KT, Mouse, Armstrong and Frimpong to inflate the balance sheets, has left the squad massively unprepared for, as the season has shown, even domestic competition.
This, on top of requests for season ticket money, has completely undermined supporter trust, and no doubt further and future revenue.

The existing staff appear to have grown totally delusional with talks of statues and being the best team in the country only in the last few days. The appointment of a obviously fragile and flawed manager was never going to go well, and taking aside terrible performances, and poor results, his defence of the Dubai trip when all of Europe was in lockdown again points regrettably to complacency.

Thankfully the end is near, and Lawell’s time is nearly up.
No doubt he will receive a huge pension-pay off/bonus, and ride into the sunset proclaiming his achievements.

Whenever the new guy steps in, we’re bound to see improvements

He’s oversaw regression in the team ever since the invincible season, be it through * off the best manager we had since O’Neill, selling key players and replacing them with utter dross which is a result of another fault of his being too cheapskate to build a proper recruitment and analysis team . I can’t wait to be rid of him and hope he doesn’t weasel his way in through an NED or chairman role

Isn't he still going to be part of the board just not the CEO or is he completely away?

He has left us in a * of a state, sold Tierney and Frimpong for over £30 million and we started today with two woeful full backs. This * helped bury resolution 12 and wanted the so called ‘old firm’ back, I hope him and that wee rat * Bankier are happy. * scunnered!

Don’t even have the energy to hate on Lawwell right now.

No doubt he has played a major role in our downfall but all of our focus and energy needs to be on next season.

Dom McKay walking into the hardest job in football today. He doesn’t have the luxury of taking his time to bed in nicely, he needs to start making moves right away.

In fairness when you think about it imagine the scenario where the imminently retiring CEO appointed a director of football and coach as he was walking out the door. I'm hoping now with McKay up and running things can start moving.

Maybe after yesterday's shambles McKay can see what's needed and can focus on getting us a manager
