That was quite a game earlier, though I watched it on a stream that kept cutting out just when Barca came right back into it and the game began to really take off (so frustrating!). Weather was terrible ..... if it was a calm night I reckon Barca would’ve won the game. Think a draw would’ve been a fairer result. Still, it’s going to be an interesting and exciting finish to La Liga.

Some finish it's going to be.

Whilst I like Real the best, and regardless of our past with Atletico, I was hoping theyd win it, but looks like they've * it.

It's going to be depressing when Messi retires.

Barca on top if they win their game in hand. Atletico the ultimate bottlers.

I’d love Barca to do it but something tells me they’re going to fall at the final hurdle when it’s right there for them to go and take.

I’m sure Atletico were 10 clear with a game in hand at one point not too long ago. Only if we had a plan and put a a new manager in in December at the latest we could’ve still done 10. Instead we waited until it was just about mathematically impossible.

Very true but managed correctly the guy could very easily play at the top level well up to his 40th.

Barca vs Ateltico Madrid and Real vs Sevilla on the 8th and 9th of May are going to be big games in the title race. Atletico Madrid should have had the league wrapped up, something must have happened as I don't think they have suffered many major injuries and rumors of Suarez leaving in the summer. How Barca are in with a shout is mad since they were honkin at the start of the season. Interesting few weeks ahead

Upcoming match vs Atletico will be the true test

I still am not a fan of Koeman (Especially in terms of how he uses his bench) in terms of tactics (Clasico is a great case in point) but they show glimpses of a great team they soon could become. I just have not yet seen it in the biggest matches against a strong opponent. If they want to win La Liga, they have to take it - to earn it and so they must put the rojiblancos to the sword

They had a similar chance in the Clasico and failed

A draw at worst against Ateltico should leave then in pole position, but still some banana skin fixtures left. I can see Atletico and Real dropping points. The wins against Sociedad and Villarreal were big in recent games, especially considering the Real defeat. Copa del rey win will have boosted morale and Griezeman is scoring which can only be a good thing

I think Barca are in the best form just now and if they can win the next 3 games which are tricky I can't see them blowing it.

Sevilla are intresting though, 5 wins from 5 and a game against Real coming up. My brothers a massive sevilla fan and part of me would like to see them do it 75 years since their first and only title.

The clasico was a weird one I felt Barca outplayed Real the majority of the game. If Dembele could finish it would have probably been an easy 3 points.

Peak Barca, did not squander chances to beat their eternal rival - for me, it reflects both a lack of adequate tactics or mentality.

So while I am excited about the team/club's future, I lack the confidence that they will delivery down the stretch despite how well positioned they currently remain

Of course, I'd feel a lot differently if we had a healthy Ansu too

Shocking defending for the 2nd, he's got about 6 feet of space inside 6 yard box
