Good if we get the 3. 5mil back, if we can get a sell on in there too brilliant.

I wasn't adverse to him staying, I want to like him but he has been lacking that edge, a good coach would have had him firing

    100%.

Not to the same extent but there was a minority of supporters who said Duffy was a donkey and that he wouldn’t suit our possession based style. Personally I thought he would bring a much needed steel to the team but then again Celtic aren’t paying me a salary to scout players so it’s ok for me to be wrong.

We can’t afford to keep making costly mistakes. Here’s hoping the overhaul will leave no stone unturned.

kinda the same with duffy , i thought we would maybe lose a couple more goals against a pacy striker in open play but i certainly thought we would have conceded less at set plays as duffy would have won majority in our box but how wrong where we !

While I respect how hard Klimala has worked to try and make it at Celtic I just do not think he is at the level we are looking for to ever be a main starting striker for us. So if we somehow are able to recoup the 3.5m we paid for him in any deal I would be all over that before they changed their mind.

Can't believe we're getting the fee back.

That's great business, if you ignore the horrific business which brought him here to begin with.

Anyway, just glad to be rid.

Is it confirmed we are getting good money for him as I thought it was just a loan ?

In a period where we could be losing Eddie as well. * * man.

There is a player there no doubt, he just needed game time and a competent coaching system to get it out of him, something Celtic have sorely lacked through his entire time here.

So if he goes it leaves us with just Ajeti as our striker, * stuff from us again.

Our defence is already in need of a total overhaul, we've no RB's, Welsh still young, Jullien to shift injuries, Ajer one of the faves to leave, Taylor who frankly should be improved upon and two loanees in Kenny and Laxalt who probably never coming back.

Elyounoussi the same probably, state of this club honestly.

Wouldn't keep a single striker at the club.

Incredible if we got £350k never mind £3.5m.

PATRYK KLIMALA has jetted out to New York to complete his Red Bulls move.

The Celtic striker is poised to quit Parkhead for the MLS - in a deal that could eventually be worth more than £3.5million.

Polish striker Klimala signed for the Hoops for that fee last January from Jagiellonia Bialystok.

But he has been given permission to open talks with New York chiefs after just three goals in 28 appearances.

And the 22-year-old is expected to sign a long-term deal when a visa application is granted.

Klimala was originally scheduled to have a medical in Austria - but is now set to head to the States instead.

He will have a medical there and is poised to clinch a lucrative deal - barring any late hitches.

Good luck to him. He had a great attitude when given game time. Hope it works out for him.

Great bit of business for all concerned! An absolute no-brainer. They even have a European coach, which should appeal to him too.

Happy with this, I'd imagine a lot of the fee will be performance based..

Was talking with my dad this morning we both said the same thing.

He did everything right, knew he was lightweight, and came back with an added stone of muscle, was always full of industry when he did get a chance. It is not his fault that we signed him. He was never the type of player that would work for us as his style doesn't suit against a low block, something we play against every week in Scotland

I wish him the very best

Not good enough, not nearly good enough infact, excellent out of possession mind and i imagine thats why he's got a move to Red Bull who loves focusing on pressing. Good luck to him, great attitude and hope he has an excellent career.
