Any news on his injury? Is he fit for Sunday?

JK: on James Forrest: "It’ll be a very late call but just in the position we are in, the magnitude of the game we’ll give it as long as we can and make our decision late on that."

JK on James Forrest: "He’s came on reasonably well in the week. We got a bit of work in to him yesterday and he had a down day today just to recover. We’ll have a go at him tomorrow to see where he’s at.

 

That does not sounds good. Sounds to me that if this was any other game they would already have decided Forrest was not playing. Really a massive blow to lose Forrest for this one given that looks likely.

 

Forrest doesn't fit into the 4-4-2 diamond formation unless he plays as a second striker, a 4-2-3-1 formation against the huns would be suicidal given it would be 3v2 in the middle especially when you consider Brown would be one of those two who doesn't have the legs anymore, has to be a 4-4-2 diamond to at least give us some control in the middle

From someone I trust. Could they be wrong? Absolutely. Hopefully, they are wrong about it because we have seen the value in terms of the team balance he brings. The press conference answer from Kennedy did nothing to allay the fears of his absence.


From what was said, it is a Posterior Chain issue (should be complicated enough for any lurking knuckledraggers)

The one flair player in our squad in our squad misses another important game due to injury , just shows our luck this season and the lack of depth in this squad .

 

Christie starts ill stay away from it then

 

Once again our player is terribly mismanaged while recovering from a serious injury.

After being out for so long it was mental to only give him a couple of 10 minute cameos before throwing him back into playing from the start of games and keeping him on for an hour +.

Without our only right mid for an entire season and we manage to make a * of it within 4 games. Well done Celtic fitness team you useless * *.

 

A lower back(a long term issue) and hamstring. They knew he wasn't making it by the middle of the week. Kept it under the radar and quiet in order to keep them guessing.

 

* a couple of chances but we're a much better team when he plays, obviously..

 

Aye he gives us another dimension by pinning Barasic back, but that all went tae * after McGregor’s brain fart.

 

Now that Brown has left the club Forrest is the longest serving player at the club having played 411 games which is 84 games clear of nearest Celtic player, Calmac on 327.

 

Chuffed for him that he made the squad for the Euros

 

Good pre season for him playing in the Euros. Should stay relatively fit throughout the summer
