Given the same circumstances I'd do exactly the same thing again, as I've said I'm a pragmatist.
From memory I could also point out I also wasn't happy/wanting to vote in support of blairs government who had contributed/caused an illegal war in Iraq.. like many were happy to vote in support off ... but have since changed their tune huh.
So this could just as easily be a wee reminder you/and others basically condoned that.. so back at you SD

And regards thatcher she was responsible for many of the benefits the UK enjoyed while a member of the EU - no need to use the euro, not as responsible for EU bail outs as the rest of the EU, we had a Veto. I think we all know by now that being in the EU was beneficial to the UK/Scotland and would therefore rejoin in a heartbeat but do you think, if we look to rejoin the EU now, that we would get these same benefits now/again .. no chance. So she did do very well for managing to get those benefits in the first place.
The world would be a simplier place if blind hate was able to be set aside at times SD imo.

Ok then SD that means both you and I can honestly say we didn't condone blairs war, unlike many who simply and conveniently try and forget that..(and who now try and lecture others on the morality of war etc).
