Let's hope we win the Scottish cup so Broony can leave the club on a high and another trophy to add to his superb collection.

 

Couldn't believe it when he signed for us. Had pretty much hated him up until then as thought he was a rabid Hun. Couldn't have been more wrong.

Brilliant player and captain for us. Hope his new role goes well.

 

its his dig and putting himself about we have missed this year ! Browns a yard slower so hes not been himself and the fitness side has hampered us

 

I don’t really know what else to say that hasn’t already been said by everybody here.

He is simply a club legend and will be one of those ones talked about beside McNeill and McStay as a true servant to our club.

What a hero

 

Whilst i have been critical of his play if recent I always maintained his influence and respect he commanded from the players was massive, was hoping he transitioned into a coaching role with us, not those sheep mutants.

 

My hubby was going 4 million we paid 4 million! I said telling ya he's got the potential to become a legend at the club! I think folk thought I was mad as it's not a term we Celtic fans throw around but I was right and I feel as sad now as I did when Henrik left

 

Strachan’s best signing, a club legend who has been a fantastic captain and winner. His loyalty to us over the years is to be commended.

 

Although I think it’s the right move for him and us, it’s probably the most emotionally impacted I’ve been from a player leaving since Henrik left.

We’ll all miss the guy a lot, and it’s really * that he couldn’t have ended things on a high. There’s nobody who I would’ve rather see lifting the 10, and nobody who could’ve deserved it more.

 

Is 100% the correct time for him and too good an opportunity to refuse. Don't think he would have got on well with Keane either.

Good luck to him. Big task ahead for them.

 

I love how the huns genuinely think he's running away... To another team in the same league... And will play in the same Cup competitions as the huns... Odd choice to run away to. It'd be like running away to your back garden.

 

Thanks for the memories Scott He's made some mistakes over the years but overall has been immense, a real leader. Those first two seasons under Rodgers he played better than I ever thought he was capable of, he was superb. His arms-out celebration in front of Diouf at Snake mountain will always remain one of my treasured Celtic memories.

 

Had some career with us, plenty oif trophies and good memories. All the best to him in his new role and hopefully we see him back in the future as a successful manager.
