Not really keen on these types on loan at his age.

It’s too low a standard for him to learn much or really demonstrate his ability to perform here. He’s played at a much higher level already in England.

Would’ve preferred just to give him game time here with nothing left to play for in the league.

Never underestimate the SPFL2

He knocked back loan offers from SPFL1 last week to sit on his *. Fair play to Connell in that respect, paid off already with the U21 call up.

 

I was just being silly to be fair, but really did Dembele actually knock back a loan deal?

I’ve heard a lot of stories about that boy this season that makes him sound like a wee * tbh

 

I'm still not one for blaming him for his lack of development/appearances this season. It is all too clear that Lennon is just an absolute waste of a football manager that doesnt do development at all.
But there are perhaps too many things, specially if this "beneath him" rejection of a loan is true. But then, could that have been brought on by Lennon/Celtic refusal all this time to help the lad develop?


Anyway, as per - for another thread.

Good to see Connell in the Ireland setup after a week of playing football, think clearly he has something to his game that we have been wasteful in bringing out this season.
