It should be clear from this post, but for the hard of thinking, I recognise that it is extremely improbable that a club in Celtic's position would appeal to managers of that calibre.

So would I if it was a choice between him and the likes of Keane but we can't go down the route of another project like Ronny for me just now far to big a job especially with it being a 30 million pound league next season hopefully so a good manager winning the league more than pays for themselves

    I know.

Imagine wishing severe illness or even death on someone who disagrees with you on the internet.

    My hope also..

The league has gone and now this game is out the way as well..

The mood is palpable amongst the support. They must know they need to act soon..

If managers are out of work, and itching to get out of the house, there is a chance - admittedly a small one - that they might settle for a lesser job than they might otherwise.

It was a (self-aware) throwaway comment.

Although I would love to see us getting a top notch manager I reckon that any half decent manager with a knowledge of tactics i.e. be able to change tactics when needed, know how to defend cross balls, know when to make substitutions and having your team as fit as they can be so they are not blowing out of their arses would be able to do the job.

The only way is up, really.

The most frustrating thing about this season is that there is no reaction to games - win, lose, or draw. We dropped points today; what will change on the pitch, in the dugout, or in the boardroom before the next game? * all.

If we had someone who knew how to organise a team at the most fundamental level, we might at least see some kind of response from the manager and players.

It baffles me that as a squad and a coaching team they haven’t sorted out defending set pieces.

I would’ve called it laziness at one point. Maybe they are just that clueless they can’t organise the extreme basics of set piece defending. Ultimately I think it’s arrogance. I genuinely think our coaches are too arrogant to work on set piece defending in any serious way.

Kennedy probably just wants to sound intelligent and parrot Rodgers, Lennon just wants to sit in the players lounge having a pint. Why should 9IAR champions do sessions on set pieces anyway?

The longer we carry on like this the more I'm convinced Desmond is going to give Kennedy the job full time. Gives me the * fear.

There is no * way that can happen, surely. We would haemorrhage season-ticket money.

He won't get the job but think he will be kept on after the way Rodgers spoke about him.

It would be ideal if the colts were to get into the league set up next season and Kennedy could manage them and build up a reputation of his own while still at the club

Kennedy will not get the job 100% ! Harkins 90% done tells me that mearesca will be favourite and maybe someone like mark hughes might have a shout ! Got a feeling though that peter lawwells boy will come with him in some role !

There shouldn't be any role for JK within Celtic, he should be encouraged to get a job at another club, it's not right to accomodate someone out of sentiment or pity, we cannot afford that, especially under a new manager.

Can only judge on what others say about him but it doesnt sound like he is there out of sentiment. He only really came to light of being singled out when things were not going well he was a major part of Rodgers set up during that success also
