Played well, particularly second half, but zero end product

Best game he's had for us, he just lacks that wee bit of class where it matters most.

Can’t fault his work rate and desire. We need that in the team.

But his end product isn’t good enough and that’s why I wouldn’t sign him.

    Best player on the park.

Back to what he showed in the first couple games before having his energy and endeavour sucked out of him.

Constantly out of position defensively, especially at corners and set pieces. Had he been near the back post and not loitering on the penalty sport - their goal could have been avoided.

Guy has potential. A good coach could get him in a good position. Imo we can do better though.

He was good going forward but the amount of times he was out of position defensively was worrying. Every corner or free kick they put into our box, he seemed to be in a central position as the furthest player forward when it was cleared.

Played well, but he is never worth the report 7 odd million Milan want for him.

Again he is a stop gap till the summer until he goes back to Milan.

Bit of a random thought, but it's kinda mental this guy can play a whole season at celtic, play nearly every game then return to Milan without a single fan ever actually see him play.

Its always a proud moment when someone plays for Celtic and speaks of the atmosphere after leaving, even if it was just a loan. Hes never experienced that... LET US BACK IN!

    Thanks, but no thanks.

    Even his hair is off-putting.

    He won't be back..

Has some good qualities and I think it's fairly obvious he hasn't been coached well here at all. Last Hun game especially showed that there is a good player in there..

That doesn't excuse his lack of ability in the final third though. He's been woefully short in that department and that won't do for a Celtic fullback..

I dunno mate, I actually think Laxalt would be excellent under a new manager, bear in mind we've basically played this season with no left winger, which in turn would have been a major detriment to both Laxalt and even Taylor, and had Neil Lennon in charge, who managed to make Mcgregor look average.

I wouldn't be buying him for the £7 million originally reported, and I think £5 million is still a bit steep, but if we could get him for under £4 million I think I'd take him.

I like him but no for 7 million there is defo a player in there and I think he would thrive under a proper coaching set up

Not a huge fan but if it's £2m odd then it would be worth buying him so it's slightly less of a rebuild in the summer. Under a decent manager hopefully we can see more disciplined performances from him, though Milan paid quite a bit for him so they'd probably want at least 5m.

    He's 28.

I can't see us spending money on him to get a permanent transfer, as there isn't much of a sell-on value for him.
